12. Father and Son
When Bill is arrested, Ridge will take sly satisfaction in what he feels is the public unmasking of his nemesis, revealing his devious nature for all to see. However, it’ll be a bittersweet moment, because the news will throw his family into turmoil. In particular, Thomas will be out for blood and in danger of destroying his newly rebuilt reputation.

11. Mother and Daughter
As for Brooke, she will make excuses for Bill, much to the chagrin of her husband and daughter. While at first Brooke will console Hope over Liam’s imprisonment, she’ll increasingly make her defence of Dollar Bill known, causing all kinds of friction for her family. How will it look when she’s more protective of her ex than her son-in-law?

10. Another Name On The Hit-List
In his anguish, Thomas may run to Hope, expecting Liam’s betrayal to be the coup de grâce in her marriage. When he finds out that she knew the truth for days ahead of Liam’s confession but also that she’s standing by him, Thomas will effectively add Hope to his hit-list. At the very least, he will no longer let conflicting feelings for her diminish his thirst for revenge.

9. Steffy Worries
Steffy will also be distressed by the news surrounding Liam’s confession, not only because Liam is the father of Steffy’s firstborn but also because she knows her brother Thomas will lose it. She will try to gain some insights from Hope, but that encounter might not be as productive as she hopes. Hope will be an emotional mess, and liable to bring up Steffy’s affair with her husband.

8. No Easy Fix
For all of the time the Spencer boys acknowledged how life-changing it would be if they turned themselves in, it’s strange that they both ended up walking into the station and confessing without even consulting a lawyer. But even now that Justin Barber’s on the scene, it doesn’t make the lawyer a magician. With his confession on the record, Bill will have to swallow his pride and get used to his cell.

7. A New Development
While being questioned behind bars, it will be revealed that Vinny didn’t die in Liam’s presence but rather some time after the hit-and-run. The argument will be made that had Liam and Bill not panicked, they could’ve driven Vinny to a hospital and prevented him from succumbing to his injuries. This will put both Spencers in the hot-seat, but mostly Bill, as he made the crucial decision to leave Vinny behind.

6. Only Bill Can Say
Now, did Bill truly think Vinny had died, or did he assume as much because he didn’t really care for the lab tech? Deputy Chief Baker will also have to ponder whether Bill “finished the job”, as a way to silence Vinny. Though that last scenario seems especially sinister for Bill, the news headlines won’t be kind. As a result, will investors, advertisers and the general public take aim at Spencer Publications? Will Thomas use the company’s vulnerability to his advantage?

5. Vinny’s Intentions
Regardless of Bill’s actions after Liam passed out, Baker will struggle to answer why Vinny was walking along the side of the road that night? A case can be made that the drug dealer, dressed entirely in black, was trying not to be seen. He was also in close proximity to the Forrester estate. At the time of his passing, he had blamed Thomas for implicating him in the paternity test mix-up to the police. Baker will have a hard time ignoring these pieces of evidence.

4. Another Suspect
But is Baker really looking at all of the suspects? Who else has the motive and willingness to commit a murder? Surely, Taylor Hayes could fit that description. She’s already pulled the trigger in a previous storyline and when brought to justice, it was Bill that opted not to press charges. In a second bit of potential irony, she’s been counselling Thomas on his guilt over Vinny’s passing.

3. Vinny’s Girlfriend
Can Vinny’s girlfriend shed light on his state of mind that night? Perhaps she will provide answers as to what Vinny was up to, shortly before he was critically injured. Will she go to the police, or to Thomas? And if so, will Thomas keep any new information from setting the Spencers free?

2. Shauna Has Second Thoughts
Shauna is fed up with this Carter lie; it’s gotten well out of hand when her daughter is hearing about it! Was it Paris who told Flo, or maybe Brooke? In either case, it’s gathered more steam than Shauna ever anticipated. Flo will see through her mom’s defences, but she won’t get a definite admission as to whether the gossip is true or false. The truth will weigh on Shauna over the coming weeks. She’ll want this whole charade over with, but not at the expense of her friend’s marriage.

1. Paris Predicament
Meanwhile, Paris will have to decide what to do after she overhears a conversation that proves that Shauna wasn’t the one sleeping with Carter — it was Quinn! Can she tell Zoe the truth when her big sister is engaged again and on top of the world? Conversely, can she really stand by and let Zoe continue to think that Quinn is her friend and Carter is an honest man? Rumor has it, the one person Paris might confront is Shauna!
