5. Paula Patton & Robin Thicke

Robin Thicke made a pretty desperate attempt to win his ex, Paula, back by dedicating and naming his album after her, but who could blame him? The Blurred Lines singer met Paula Patton at an under-21 club when they were in their early teens. The couple married in 2005 and had their son Julian in 2010. But after a series of questionable moves by Robin, the couple split in 2014. Paula has gone on to say that her newly single status has made her “like a real woman now” since she is living on her own for the first time in her life.
