When we hear the word “grandmother” we often imagine a little old spectacled lady with a walker, baking cookies and driving like a snail on the freeway, but this list shows us that some grannies are foxy ladies with the world at their feet. We have all come to learn that in the world of celebrity, age is easily defied and these ladies have mastered it, making it crazy to know someone calls these women “grandma.”Below is a list of some grandmothers whose ages will knock your darned socks off.

10. Goldie Hawn

While in her 50s, Goldie Hawn became a first-time grandmother in 2004 to Kate Hudson’s daughter, Ryder Russell Robinson. Since then Goldie has become the bombshell-grannie to four more little tykes.

Who could forget the controversial, out of wedlock birth of this conservative political candidate’s grandson, Tripp? A trend that has continued with daughter, Bristol, who remains unmarried and is expecting once again. Palin was 44 when she welcomed the bundle of political liability, and has since become the proud old grannie to her son Track’s daughter Kyla. Track has since divorced Kyla’s mom. 1. Moma June Shannon

Okay, so maybe Moma June doesn’t quite fall into the “foxy” category of grandma, but this woman tops the list because of the zaniness she brings us. At the age of 32, Moma June welcomed granddaughter “Baby Kaitlyn” for the world to see on the first season of “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.” In a not so unpredictable turn of events, daughter Anna “Chickadee” Shannon and the now two-year-old granddaughter are suing Moma June for unpaid appearances on the show. What a big happy family!
