11 Shocking Revelations From Teen Mom 2’s Season 7A Reunion Show

Source: MTV

After the first half of season seven of Teen Mom 2 wrapped up, fans knew that there was still lots of drama that happened after filming that needed to be caught up on. They weren’t disappointed when the finale reunion show aired as there was exes fighting, divorce talk and, of course, claims of quitting the show all together. Now that both finale special episodes are finished we have rounded up all of the best and most shocking revelations that the cast and Dr. Drew spoke about in the segment. Check it out:

11. Jace’s Diagnosis

Fans of the show have watched as Barbara and Jenelle’s concerns about Jace’s behavior have worsened, specifically about his actions at school including being violent towards other children. On the finale special Barbara revealed that Jace has now officially been diagnosed with ADHD. Barbara elaborated saying that he was on his medication for only two days before teachers were contacting her, telling her what an improvement they saw. Jenelle interjected saying she was disappointed she was not included in the doctors’ appointments and shared other concerns, stating, “The medicine he’s taking, it’s a controlled substance, and I’m afraid when he gets older, if he’s still on it, if his friends are like, ‘Oh, let me get some of that,’ or something.”

10. Kieffer’s Back!?

Fans who watched the reunion are well aware that a lot went down between Nathan and Jenelle during their short segment with Dr. Drew, but everything came to a screeching halt when Nathan revealed that he found Jenelle in bed with none other than Kieffer Delp! The same guy that was the catalyst for Jenelle’s downward spiral into heroin addiction was the one she seemingly rebounded with after breaking up with Nathan. “[Nathan] climbs in my bathroom window at 4 a.m. and bursts in my bedroom at 4 a.m. after he moved out!” Jenelle stated of the incident after Nathan implied she was cheating on him with Keiffer at the time. After Nathan left the room, Jenelle’s mom Barbara went into further detail about the incident after Dr. Drew incredulously asked, “Kieffer, really? He’s back?” Barbara promptly stated, “No. It was a one night visit, but then she explained Nathan’s actions saying, “He started choking Kieffer so bad he almost, like, killed him, and then Kieffer left the next day and we’ve never seen Kieffer again.”

9. Leah’s Co-Parenting Problems

For many years fans watched as Leah Messer struggled with co-parenting her two twins with her ex-husband and their father, Corey Simms. While they got along at times, they went back and forth to court a lot, and now she has a whole other custody battle on her hands with her second ex-husband Jeremy Calvert. Many assumed Jeremy would remain a present father to Addie despite the split, but Leah revealed that she is having problems getting him to see his daughter as much as she would like. According to Leah he hasn’t made much of an effort, and Jeremy also stated that he got laid off after he asked to fly out for the reunion special, although he didn’t even show up.

8. Corey and Dr. Drew’s Therapy

Over the many years of the series, Dr. Drew has gotten to know the stars pretty well and at times has had tense moments between himself and others after asking sensitive questions or giving an opinion they didn’t agree with, but on this particular reunion show, Dr. Drew and Corey Simms had some things to hash out. Dr. Drew revealed that Corey had told him he felt that Drew had singled him out and been particularly harsh for no reason causing Dr. Drew to apologize and say something we all already know: “I hear you were feeling that way but it really wasn’t what I was thinking or feeling of you. Above almost any of these teen dads, you just stepped up man. You’ve always stepped up,” which Leah wholeheartedly agreed with.

7. David’s Past

It’s always hard to determine just how well any of Jenelle Evans’ relationships are going, but it does seem, for now at least, that David is a very mature and responsible man, which he demonstrated when speaking to Dr. Drew at the reunion. When they first started dating, however, there were many reports that David had also spent time in jail for what Nathan says was domestic violence. Meanwhile Nathan also seems to think that David has had a past issue with heroin, like Jenelle. Although he didn’t go into detail about what he did, David admitted he did go to jail, but denied he did anything saying he actually pleaded guilty to something he didn’t do in order to try to avoid going to jail and did, which caused him to lose custody of his own son.

6. Dr. Drew’s Opinion

While we will get to all the drama, Adam’s appearance on the reunion show stirred up one thing that was very apparent, and perhaps has been in past seasons is that Dr. Drew does not think much of Adam, and does not bother to hide it much either. His facial expressions and responses to Adam speak for themselves, but he also is adamant about how negatively Adam is affecting Aubree especially by missing crucial events in her life. When discussing with Chelsea if Aubree talks about Adam or how Chelsea approaches it, Dr. Drew really let his opinion known stating, “I would say, ‘It’s not about you — your dad has a condition,'” he told Chelsea while giving her advice on how to approach Aubree about her father. “I’m not gonna speculate, but I have some ideas …” According to Dr. Drew, Adam’s problems go beyond being irresponsible or selfish, and he has no problem saying it.

5. Is Chelsea Quitting?

Fans of the show who have watched for many seasons couldn’t help but notice that for quite a bit of her conversation with Dr. Drew, Chelsea Houska seemed quite short with her answers; she wasn’t rude, but seemed irritated about everything being on camera all of the time. Seemingly, picking up on that, Dr. Drew asked her, “Are you glad you agreed to do this program?” Chelsea replied, “It’s been a great experience, but it’s been going on for so long and I’m at a different point in my life now, that I’m just wanting a little more privacy, I think.”

4. Kailyn and Javi’s Divorce

In the last episode of the season, Kailyn and Javi began the divorce discussion and it definitely didn’t seem as emotional or difficult as most divorce conversations are. While fans were aware a divorce was more than likely coming, it was made very clear in the reunion that they didn’t see eye-to-eye on the decision. Kailyn argues that she doesn’t want to stay together for the kids because being in an unhappy relationship for them does not set a good example, while Javi believes they can work through it when he is home from deployment. Regardless of whether the divorce is officially on or not, Javi revealed that upon his return he will be getting his own place while Kailyn and the kids stay at the house. Dr. Drew stated, “So, we’re talking about a separation,” to which Javi replied, “I think we’re talking about a divorce.”

3. Jo’s Story

While Kailyn and Javi didn’t say too much more than what fans already knew, it was Jo who kind of surprised everyone with his insight on his ex’s current relationship problems. Jo revealed that he, Kailyn, and Vee had talked about Kailyn’s problems with Javi and he said that while it is “sad to see” he can see the difference in Kailyn, revealing that she is smiling and happy all the time while Javi is on deployment, but it isn’t the same when he’s around, which obviously says a lot about their relationship. Jo also had big news of his own confirming that he and Vee are officially engaged, and have started planning, but no date is set in stone.

2. Adam’s Quitting…Or Is He?

There is no one else quite like Adam Lind on the Teen Mom series and his outbursts and threats toward MTV are nothing new, and this reunion was no different. A sullen and pouting Adam did appear on the finale special, only to announce he wasn’t going to answer any questions and just sit there. His little tantrum started after Dr. Drew asked him about not attending Aubree’s father-daughter dance to which he replied, “I don’t know — I don’t have to explain myself to you guys anymore. I’m not gonna participate in this anymore — I’m f–king done with it. I’m here because I’m under contract, and I have to be here,” he said. “Doesn’t matter. Not gonna give you guys what you want anymore. Done with it. I’m just done with the show I don’t want to participate on the show anymore. I even texted MTV that I don’t want to come to f–king L.A., and I was told, ‘You better get a lawyer to get out of your contract,’ so here I sit. I’m obligated to be here, I’m not obligated to answer any of your questions … I want out of this life. I’m f–king sick of it, so. I’m done with it. Money’s not even worth it anymore.” After saying those words however, MTV producer Larry came out and told things from their side stating that he only asked Adam to honor his commitments which was when the truth came out: Adam’s whole issue is with wanting more money. Basically for those who haven’t watched it, Larry comes out and blows Adam’s story out of the water, and the audience finds out Adam was just unhappy because he isn’t being paid the same as Chelsea.

1. Chelsea’s Wedding

Chelsea Houska has arguably had one of the smoothest stories on Teen Mom 2, which is all relative considering the intense drama the rest of the girls have been through, and while she has kept her new fiance’s time on camera limited because he prefers it that way, many assumed after sharing seven years of her life on MTV, she would share her wedding as well. On the reunion special, however, Chelsea confirmed that that was not happening. When Dr. Drew asked if her wedding to Cole DeBoer was to be filmed by MTV she somewhat curtly stated, “No. My relationship is very important to me, and I just feel like somethings need to be kept between the two of us.”
