The popularity of so many different social media platforms has allowed fans an inside look at the rich of the famous and has given celebrities a way to connect with their fans like never before. As well as connecting with fans, however, social media has also helped celebrities reach out to each other which has resulted in collaborations, friendships and sometimes even romances. Here are 11 celebrities who met their significant others on social media:
12. Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland
One of the best things about social media is that it can bring two stars from different facets of the industry together and that is how things worked out for former Bachelorette contestant Wells Adams and Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland. The two fueled romance rumors when they stepped out for Halloween in a couples’ costume but it wasn’t until a few weeks later that Adams opened up about the relationship. During an appearance on The Morning Breath, he revealed that the whole thing started because of Twitter. “The internet — it’s amazing,” he joked when asked how they met and added, “I’m amazed how smart the internet is. Because I just assume everyone on Twitter is an idiot, and then I’m like, ‘Wow!’” When asked for more details about their relationship, he said it is all in his social media. “There’s nothing really to say. Like, if you want to know — to be fair, if you want to know anything, just look on my social media.”

Ora revealed that Harris reached out to her on Twitter before they met in real life, and when they did meet it was instant chemistry.
