14 Celebrity Fans Of The Real Housewives

Bravo’s reality series known as the Real Housewives has now been around for over a decade. It started out with just The Real Housewives of Orange County, but became so popular that it spawned more shows focused on other big cities like New York, New Jersey, Atlanta and Beverly Hills (just to name a few), and even a few spin-offs! It’s grown into a full blown franchise with a fan base that just keeps growing. Despite its success, the show is definitely characterized as a “secret guilty pleasure” because of it is full of cat fights, drinking, drama and lavish parties. The Housewives definitely fulfill that trashy reality television we all crave and even some of Hollywood’s biggest stars indulge a little! Here’s a list of 14 celebrities who have spoken about their love for the Real Housewives reality series:

14. Christina Aguilera

The “Genie in a Bottle” singer and Voice coach has professed her love for the women on The Real Housewives of New Jersey on multiple occasions and it seems her love for the Real Housewives franchise only continues to grow as she’s now also a fan of The Real Housewives of New York! She recently tweeted: “Love @Bethenny back on #RHONY. Best season ever…the show needed you back!!! Missed you! And Dorinda is a great addition!!”

13. Eddie Redmayne

It’s pretty surprising when any serious Hollywood actor admits to watching trashy television, but it seems to be even harder to believe that Eddie Redmayne is one of them! This Oscar winning actor admitted during his press tour for The Theory of Everything that he’s secretly not as perfectly cultured as the characters he plays in his movies. He told US Weekly that he would “come home from trying to pretend to know about astronomy and physics all day and turn on the Real Housewives.” I don’t think anyone would have suspected that!

11. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi

Despite being a Jersey girl from MTV’s Jersey Shore, Nicole Polizzi has said her favorite Real Housewives show is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because Housewife veteran Kyle Richards reminds her of a guidette. In an interview with TV Squad she said, “I think Kyle Richards is my favorite. She reminds me of like a guidette. And her husband’s hot. And she has an attitude, so I like her a lot.” Richards and Polizzi have been seen tweeting back and forth and Richards even gave her a shout out on Twitter for her birthday! It’s not that surprising that ‘Snooki’ would be interested in watching reality television considering she’s a product of that genre, but we’re thinking this fiery Italian reality star must also like watching The Real Housewives of New Jersey!

Chrissy Teigen is the queen of the twitterverse, she’s never afraid to tweet her opinions on anything from politics to the Real Housewives, so we know that she tunes in on a regular basis. When she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with LL Cool J, talk show host Andy Cohen asked her about her interest in the show and she said, it’s more than an interest — she’s obsessed! “I swear to God I have seen every episode of Housewives at least 25 times and so has [my husband] John. If you did a trivia show, we are in it.”

Cause Richard used to work on his campaign so I got a call from one of the people who work on it and they said, ‘You know I just want to tell you that Hillary really enjoys you on the show’…I didn’t even know what to say.”

7. Jennifer Lawrence

Back in 2014, the Oscar winning actress admitted in a Vanity Fair interview that she sometimes skips out on the Hollywood big screen flicks for some small screen reality television. She said she’s such a big fan of the Real Housewives that she even based her American Hustle performance on the franchise’s “stable of hair-sprayed rabble-rousers.” Some of her favorite shows include Dance Moms, Intervention, and “New York Housewives — and Beverly Hills, New Jersey, and Atlanta Housewives.” “I mean I love them all, but Miami — oh, my God! Miami is really special,” said Lawrence. She’s also been spotted dining at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant PUMP and in an video on Instagram, she and her friends reenact the opening credits of Vanderpump Rules.

6. Michael Rapaport

Michael Rapaport is an avid and apparently emotional viewer of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Like some of the other celebrities on this list, he has engaged in some exchange with the Housewife ladies, except his wasn’t exactly friendly! The actor who is best known for his role on shows like My Name is Earl and Prison Break once got in a Twitter feud with RHOA’s Kenya Moore! He tweeted: “Krazy @KenyaMoore was bullying @Porsha4real went she got the wig snatched, she should have no regrets about that wig snatch #RHOA @Andy.” Of course, Kenya wasted no time when she responded with: “@MichaelRapaport u are pathetic & ignorant 4promoting violence on any level. Please get a job 2 keep ur cable 2 watch me every week #RHOA.” Rapaport has also been spotted hanging out with the ladies of RHONY. In an interview with the Daily Dish he said, “I’m getting closer to the inner circle and trust me, it makes me way more excited and happy than I should admit. If I was able to be the first male Housewife, I don’t know if I could actually be called that, but I would take that being bestowed upon me.”

5. Lady Gaga

Gaga loves the women from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills so much she cast them in the 2014 music video for her single “G.U.Y.” The video was shot at the Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California and in the background of several shots several of the Beverly Hills Housewives can be seen strumming violins, harps, guitars and playing the violin while Gaga sings. Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards even play their own roles in the video! It’s clear Gaga and Vanderupmp have a friendship because Gaga has been frequently spotted dining at Lisa’s famous Beverly Hills restaurants. Dorinda has also been spotted backstage at one of her concerts. She even posted a photo with Gaga’s mother!

4. Mila Kunis

Mila Kunis from That 70’s Show told Conan O’Brien that she enjoys “hate-watching” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She thinks the cast members are the “worst” people on television (alongside Tori Spelling), but she gets sucked into watching it while she’s walking on the treadmill at home. She also admitted that her husband Ashton Kutcher wastes no time making fun of her for it, but she doesn’t care. “These women are horrible…Cat fights happen, weaves are being chucked, the women look like they just got beat by a drag queen and they have so much make up on. It’s amazing. It is one of the greatest things on television,” Kunis said.

3. Jonah Hill

Jonah Hill is another celebrity who we are extremely surprised to learn is a fan of the Real Housewives shows. Hill said his favorite show in the franchise is The Real Housewives of Atlanta. He loves the show so much that on his 27th birthday back in 2011 he invited RHOA cast members Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey and a few other special friends to a sneak peak viewing of his film Neighborhood Watch. The two reality stars even gave him birthday gifts. In an interview with Wendy Williams, he said. “I pulled up next to Nene Leakes in a car in Atlanta where I was shooting a movie and I freaked out. I texted all my friends.”

2. P. Diddy

During an interview with E! News about collaborating with Bravo’s Real Housewives for a holiday campaign to promote responsible drinking, P. Diddy confessed that he was a closeted reality show junkie. “My favorite Housewife, hands down, is Nene [Leakes]. I’m an Atlanta Housewives fanatic and I do love the New Jersey Housewives, too. I like the family feud thing…I’m not even embarrassed to say it. You’ll even find me in chat rooms.” We’re thinking he’s probably tuned into The Real Housewives of New York City as well since one of his former employees, Heather Thomson, joined the show for a few seasons.

1. Megan Fox

Megan Fox threw Brian Austin Green under the bus when she revealed the two of them love watching all of the Real Housewives shows. In an interview with E! News, she said, “I watch all of the Housewives. Brian watches them, too. They’re addicting. They’re like drugs those shows. It’s my worst vice for sure. We watch them together and we record them if we’re going to be out of town. There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s just junk food for your brain.” There is nothing wrong with a little guilty pleasure now and then!
