Published on April 20, 2016. Updated June 2, 2017

Age is nothing but a number and so is size! Women typically experience a lot of pressure over how big or small they are, celebrities included, but that doesn’t mean that they give into it! We have a list of 7 celebrities who prove that beauty has absolutely nothing to do with size!

7. Kelly Clarkson

The “Since U Been Gone” singer thinks everyone should just focus on being happy and healthy. “I do cardio. I run. I strength-train using my own body weight. I don’t like free weights, because I build muscle easily. Really, what I try to instill in my fans is to be healthy and happy. I have no desire to be super-skinny,” she said.

6. Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor is all about body acceptance. Through her music, she advocates that women don’t need to be stick thin to be attractive. “It’s impossible for a girl to live up to what we see in the magazines,” she said. “Everyone is born to be different, and [yet] that’s the thing that makes us all the same.”

5. Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham has struggled with her weight in the past, but now she’s accepted her size. “I really feel good with my size now,” she said. “I know when I say that people are like, ‘mm hmm,’ but I just do! It used to be when I went into a room with all thin women I felt like, what’s wrong with me? Now I just feel special.”

4. Melissa McCarthy

Melissa McCarthy – who has two children of her own – wants all women to feel good about themselves regardless of their size. “Give me your best punch in the face, and I’ll take that punch, rather than have my kid feel bad about herself,” she said. “There’s an epidemic in our country of girls and women feeling bad about themselves based on what .5% of the human race looks like. It starts very young. My message is that as long as everybody’s healthy, enjoy and embrace whatever body type you have.”

3. Ashley Graham

Model Ashley Graham doesn’t think size matters at all – what really matters is how you feel about yourself. “I think that you can be healthy at any size and my goal is to help and educate women on that,” she said. “It doesn’t matter if you’re a size 2 or 22 as long as you’re taking care of your body, working out, and telling yourself ‘I love you’ instead of taking in the negativity of beauty standards.”

2. Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer is known for her killer sense of humor and her unapologetic attitude towards her weight and her sexuality. “Men can look like whatever and still date a supermodel. I’m proud of what I said. I think it’s good to see somebody saying: I have a belly. And I have cellulite. And I still deserve love. And to catch the old D. And to not apologize,” she said.

1. Mindy Kaling

Mindy Kaling doesn’t think the word “chubby” is bad and she has no problem using it to describe herself. “You know what’s funny? If I call myself a cute, chubby girl, the natural kind woman’s response is, ‘You’re not chubby! You’re beautiful! And thin!” She said. “And I always want to hug the person and say, ‘It’s OK, I identify as someone who is cute and chubby – that doesn’t mean I’m not worthy of love and attention and intimacy.’”
