Harry revealed to The Telegraph in 2017 that he sought counseling after struggling in his late 20s to come to terms with his mother’s sudden and tragic death. He disclosed that he felt close to a breakdown on numerous occasions and mostly avoided dealing with his grief. “I can safely say that losing my mum at the age of 12, and therefore shutting down all of my emotions for the last 20 years, has had a quite serious effect on not only my personal life but my work as well,” he said.

Prince Harry used to have a Facebook account, but it wasn’t under his real name and it didn’t include any pictures of him. It was under the pseudonym Spike Wells and his profile pictures included photos of a hedgehog, a lemur from the movie Madagascar, and a redheaded kid with the comment, “Oh my God, I’m ginger.” Following the incident in Las Vegas where he was photographed playing strip billiards, his advisors told him to delete his Facebook page and he complied.

8. Is Dedicated To Helping Others
Prince Harry’s dedication to putting in work to help others is not something he considers as just part of his job as a member of the royal family, but is something he is actually very passionate about. His mother Princess Diana would bring both William and Harry to homeless projects, orphanages and other aid organizations at a very young age in order to give them an “understanding of people’s emotions, insecurities and of people’s hopes and dreams.” On Worlds AIDS Day, Harry offered his own personal confession to promote #FeelNoShame and try to alleviate the stigma around AIDS.

7. Media Blew His Military Cover
Although many have accused Harry of only participating in staged and completely safe operations in the military, he made it very clear he was serious about serving like every other soldier. As a member of the Household Cavalry, Harry was supposed to deploy to Iraq, but the military was forced to pull him out when the media figured out where he would be. He made it to Afghanistan without media knowledge in 2007 and served 10 weeks before an Australian paper once again blew his cover, forcing him to leave again.

During his gap year in Africa, Harry met Chelsy Davy who was the daughter of a Zimbabwean landowner. As to be expected with a guy like Prince Harry, Davy was not the typical “princess” type. “She could ride bareback, skipper a speedboat across Kenya’s Lake Naivasha, and all the time match the boys drink for drink,” a friend stated. The two broke up after about six years and then he moved on to Cressida Bones. Now he’s married to Suits star Meghan Markle and the two are expecting their first child together!
