August 5, 2013, marked the 10 year anniversary of when Fox first introduced “The O.C.” The drama filled story lines and attractive backgrounds kept fans glued to the screen from August 5, 2003 until February 22, 2007. The hit show also helped boost the careers of many of its former cast members. What have our favorite actors and actresses from the show accomplished since it ended? Find out below…
Mischa Barton (Marissa Cooper)
Barton went on to appear in such films as “Closing the Ring” and “Assassination of a High School President.” Her life took a momentary lapse with a DUI arrest in 2007. Recovering quickly, Barton went on to guest-star on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit during 2010 and the Lifetime movie “Cyberstalker” in 2012.

Rachel Bilson (Summer Roberts)
Bilson made guest appearances on “How I Met Your Mother” and “Chuck.” Bilson’s career advanced into the film genre after starring in the sci-fi flick called “Jumper” where she became romantically involved with co-star Hayden Christensen. She returned to television full-time in 2011 as physician Dr. Zoey Hart in the CW’s popular “Hart of Dixie.”

Adam Brody (Seth Cohen)
Brody moved on to the silver screen with appearances in “Cop Out,” “Jennifer’s Body” and “Scream 4.” He also starred with Meg Ryan “In the Land of Women” and “The Oranges” where he met his future love interest. His latest appearances have included guest-starring roles in a few episodes of “House of Lies” during 2013.

Benjamin McKenzie (Ryan Atwood)
McKenzie went on to star with long time idol Al Pacino in “88 Minutes” and retained a four-year starring role as police officer Ben Sherman in “Southland.” He also employed his voice talents in the animated “Batman: Year One” and has roles in the films “Decoding Annie Parker” and the “Adventures in the Sin Bin.”

Kelly Rowan (Kristen Cohen)
Rowan went on to have a personal relationship with Fleet’s David Thomson that blessed the two with a daughter. She starred in the made for television movies “In God’s Country” and “Cyberbully.” In 2012, she starred alongside Eric McCormack in the TNT drama series “Perception.”

Peter Gallagher (Sandy Cohen)
Gallagher moved on to guest star in numerous episodes of “Californication” and “Rescue Me” before signing on as a regular on “Covert Affairs” in 2010. Gallagher also found time to appear in the films “Burlesque” and “Step Up Revolution.” He and wife Paula Harwood have a daughter and a son.

Melinda Clarke (Julie Cooper)
Clarke landed roles in “Eli Stone,” “Entourage,” “The Vampire Diaries” and “Vegas.” Her most recent role to date includes the villainous Amanda on the popular series “Nikita.” Though her relationship with Ernie Mirich ended, the union blessed her with daughter Kathryn.

Willa Holland (Kaitlin Cooper)
Holland moved on to have a recurring role in “Gossip Girl” and currently stars as Thea Queen in the popular CW series “Arrow.” She made time to appear in the films, “Garden Party,” “Genova,” and “Legion” along with “Straw Dogs.” She also played Davey Wexler in the film adaptation of “Tiger Eyes.”

Autumn Reeser (Taylor Townsend)
Reeser starred in the made for television movies entitled “ Nature of the Beast” and “The American Mall.” In 2009, she joined the cast of “Entourage.” She had a recurring role in “No Ordinary Family,” has appeared on the television remake of “Hawaii Five-0” and joined the cast of “Necessary Roughness.” Married to director Jesse Warren since 2009, the couple have a son and are expecting a second child in November of 2013.

Tate Donovan (Jimmy Cooper)
Donovan moved from “The O.C.” series to enjoy recurring roles in “Damages” and “No Ordinary Family.” His career got a boost when he starred alongside Ben Affleck in the acclaimed motion picture “Argo.” He also garnered a role in the short-lived series “Deception.”

Cam Gigandet (Kevin Volchok)
Gigandet progressed from scoundrel to the even more evil vampire James in the first “Twilight” movie. The success landed him the chance to appear in a number of movies that included “Burlesque,” “Easy A,” and “Priest” along with “The Roommate” and “Trespass.” In 2012 he won the role of Stunner in the television movie “Seal Team 6: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden.” Gigandet and significant other Dominique Geisendorff have a daughter and a son.
