TLC stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have made a major profit after they flipped their home in Arkansas.

The 19 Kids and Counting stars renovated a dated 10,000-square-foot home known as the Baylor Mansion, in the town of Springdale in 2014 for $230,000, according to Realtor.com.

The completely transformed four-bedroom, nine-bathroom (five full and four half) home has sold for $1.53 million, meaning the couple made a profit of $1.3 million, less the coast of the renovation.

PEOPLE reported that the Duggar’s Arkansas home was first put on the market in May 2019 for $1.8 million, and was listed by April Hamm with Keller Williams Market Pro Realty. After six months of being on the market, the price was then lowered to $1.1 million. In December of last year, Jason McClure and Tom Joseph of Weichert Realtors, The Griffin Company took over the house’s listing, and the Duggars decided to bring in a team of interior designers to furnish the renovated space.

The Arkansas home then went back on the market for a new listing price of $1.38 million with furnishings and sold in mid-February for over asking. The sale also included an additional plot of land next door.

A representative of the couple told PEOPLE in May 2019 that Jim Bob and Michelle have been busy buying and selling homes for a while now – even before they had their TLC show – as Jim Bob’s mom is a retired real estate agent. For many years, the couple turned flipping homes into family projects.

“They’ve always looked for opportunities where they could improve something,” the representative said. “They just like flipping houses. They like the construction business, the remodel, and seeing something go from bad to good — from unused to being attractive for others.”

The Arkansas home was built in 1969 and was said to have been inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic round house, according to the original listing. The home’s first floor is round with a concrete wall around it, and was “supposedly built to withstand a nuclear attack.”

While the Duggars kept some of the home’s original features – like slate tile floors and walnut ceilings and doors – the space has been largely renovated. It also seems like the duo added additional bathrooms, as the original 2014 listing said the home only featured four.

The newly renovated home now boasts more modern elements, like sleek white cabinets and streamlined fixtures in the kitchen, and an open floor plan that expands to the living room with a fireplace and stone wall accents.

The house also features three additional kitchens, all which have been renovated with granite countertops and updated appliances.

Upstairs, a master suite is outfitted with a new freestanding soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower. The Arkansas home also boasts a spacious screening room and an elevator.

The property is situated on 2.73 acres, and outside features a sprawling stone patio above a three-and-a-half car garage. Before the renovations, the patio featured a green outdoor carpet, which the couple ripped out for a bare outdoor space.
