Channing Tatum Confirmed To Star In “X-Men” Franchise!

(LOS ANGELES) — The X-Men franchise has officially added another big name — Channing Tatum.

The Magic Mike star was confirmed by X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner as the card-throwing Gambit, real name Remy LeBeau.

Donner told Total Film, “It is Channing, yes, yes.”

“He’s a rogue. Channing, he’s a rascal, just like Remy LeBeau,” Donner said. “And he can handle the action. We all know that.”

Donner knows Tatum, 34, personally, having done a movie with him already.

“I think he’ll be great,” she added. “He’s not from New Orleans, but he is a southerner, he understands that world.”
