George Clooney To Marry In Venice
Published on September 8, 2014.GEORGE CLOONEY has revealed he and his bride-to-be AMAL ALAMUDDIN are set to tie the knot in Venice, Italy.
The Gravity star is set to wed the British lawyer later this month (Sep14), and while speculation suggested the upcoming ceremony would be held at Clooney’s property in Lake Como, the actor himself announced they will be married in the City of Canals.
Clooney went public with the news while accepting a Humanitarian Award at Celebrity Fight Night in Tuscany on Sunday (07Sep14), and during his speech, he said, “I met my lovely bride-to-be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying, in a couple of weeks, in Venice, of all places.”
Clooney’s news comes after Alamuddin reportedly filed official wedding paperwork in London and visited a high profile wedding dress designer this week (01Sep14).
