Nicole Kidman Thanks Fans For Support Following Dad’s Death

Actress NICOLE KIDMAN has broken her silence following the death of her dad to thank fans for their messages of condolence.

Dr. Anthony Kidman passed away on 12 September (14) after suffering a fall while visiting the star’s sister, Antonia, in Singapore.

He was laid to rest in a private family funeral in Sydney, Australia on 19 September (14), when the Oscar winner fought back tears as she paid tribute to the man she praised as “a thinker, my confidant, my friend and my protector”.

Now Kidman and her singer husband Keith Urban have reached out to devotees who offered the Oscar winner their support during the dark days following her father’s death to express their gratitude.

In a message posted on both Kidman and Urban’s Facebook.com pages on Monday (29Sep14), they wrote, “We would just like to thank everyone for their love and prayers over these past couple of weeks. We are all heartbroken but knowing we are in the hearts and thoughts of others is so comforting.”
