(NEW CANAAN, Conn.) — Paul Simon and Edie Brickell were both arrested Saturday night for alleged disorderly conduct at their home in New Canaan, Conn.

According to New Canaan police, officers visited the couple’s home at 8 p.m. on April 26 following a 911 hang-up call, and said they observed evidence of physical violence resulting in minor injuries.

No other details are available, though New Canaan police released a statement late Monday morning confirming that both Simon, 72, and Brickell, 48, were charged with disorderly conduct and “released on a promise to appear” in Norwalk Superior Court. At last word, that appearance was scheduled for noon Monday.

Simon and Brickell will have been married for 22 years on May 30. Brickell is the frontwoman for Edie Brickell & New Bohemians.
