Audiences were first introduced to Chris Carmack thanks to his role as Luke Ward on The O.C. and while his character was easy to hate, Carmack was easy to love. After his turn as The O.C.‘s villain Carmack seemed to fall off the radar until his resurgence as Will Lexington in Nashville. While that role not only helped reinvigorate his career but also endear fans, he took it one step further when he was added to the cast of Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. Atticus Lincoln. Now, Carmack is enjoying a revitalized career in much more likeable roles, and fans aren’t mad at having him on their screens again, which makes him one of the best stars named Chris.
Jim Smeal18. Chris Klein
It took no time at all for Chris Klein to become one of the hottest Chrises of the early 2000’s after his first two roles in 1999’s Election and American Pie. While we absolutely love him as Chris “Oz” Ostreicher, Klein’s career never really took off the way many expected it to. In 2010, he took the time to care for himself after a years long battle with alcohol, and has now made a big return with the role of Orlin Dwyer in the hit series The Flash. Now, fans can’t wait to see Klein in the upcoming Netflix series Sweet Magnolias, and maybe he can move his way up in the Chrises of Hollywood ranking.

Plummer’s incredible acting abilities have led him to an incredibly wide range of roles, and despite that he is now approaching his 90’s, he shows no signs of stopping just yet.

After his breakout role as Smokey in Friday, Chris Tucker has been a mainstay of talent and comedy in the entertainment industry. From his performance as Ruby Rhod in The Fifth Element to James Carter in the Rush Hour franchise, fans always appreciate whatever Tucker brings to his roles. He proved his true talent however after he gained critical acclaim for his surprising role in Silver Linings Playbook. Obviously, Chris Tucker is a beloved Chris for his talent, personality, and charm but his lack of major roles pushes him back in the rankings.

What would a list of Hollywood’s best stars named Chris be without Christopher Knight? While his name might not be as recognizable now, he will always be one of the best thanks to his role as Peter Brady in the ’70s series The Brady Bunch. He reprised the role in many specials and has made cameos in popular series thanks to the fandom he gained as the character, but just never gained another huge role. We still love Christopher Knight, but most wish they just saw more of him!

He can act and sing and has gone on to appear as Peter Florrick in The Good Wife and lead the cast of Gone in the 2018 series. Christopher Catesby “Kit” Harington was born in Acton, London in 1986 and now has become one of the most popular television actors in history thanks to his role as Jon Snow in HBO’s Game of Thrones. His talent and charm has made him one of the most desirable men in the industry, but his kindness and genuine interactions with fans have also helped him stand out amongst the many Chrises. If there is one Chris that has had a major rise over the past two years, it is Chris Sullivan. We can’t wait to see what more is in store for this Chris!

Television and films just wouldn’t be the same without Christopher Meloni. He is one of TV’s most iconic actors thanks to his role as Elliot Stabler in the hit NBC drama Law & Order: SVU, but of course has broadened his talent with absurd roles in Wet Hot American Summer and Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle, and the intense role of Chris Keller in Oz. No matter what role he takes on, he always impresses, and although fans are still angry with him for leaving Law & Order: SVU, he is still one of the best Chrises in the game.
EPA/JASON SZENES9. Christian Bale
Christian Bale is one of the most talented men on this list. Way before he was the caped crusader he was known as one of the most dedicated actors out there who always goes to various extremes to ensure a role is done right. Once he took on the role of Batman however, Bale’s fame grew even higher and although he is known for his quick temper as well, there is no denying where his talent alone lands him on this list.
EPA/ALEXANDER BECHER8. Chris Rock
Chris Rock’s decades in the entertainment industry speak for themselves when it comes to just how great he is. He may have got his start on Saturday Night Live, but since then Rock’s comedy has evolved into television and films and he even extended his talents by creating the popular sitcom Everybody Hates Chris. On top of all his accomplishments, Rock was also one of the most memorable hosts the Oscars have ever had and Hollywood would not be the same place without the wit, charisma and comedic prowess of Chris Rock.

Chris O’Donnell’s career has taken many twists and turns, and while he may have started out as a burgeoning movie star, he has made his mark as one of the reigning Chrises of TV. After playing Robin in 1997’s Batman & Robin, he has become better known for his roles as Dr. Finn Dandridge in Grey’s Anatomy, and Callen on NCIS: LA. Despite his success on TV, Chris O’Donnell stays out of the spotlight, making him that much more beloved as he enjoys his off time with his wife of over 20 years and their five children. With his talent, looks, and family dedication it is easy to see why Chris O’Donnell has cracked the top 10.

Country singer Chris Young got his start as the winner of Nashville Star in 2006, but unlike many reality competition winners, he has had major success in the years since. Over 10 years later, he is one of the most popular men in country music with major hit singles and in 2017 he was granted one of the biggest achievements in country music when he was inducted as a member into the Grand Ole Opry. Chris Young is the kind of guy who loves music, loves his fans, and loves his family, and they love him right back!
Curtis Hilbun/PA5. Kris Jenner
The only female named Chris, or in this case Kris, on this list is Kris Jenner. People might have mixed feelings on the Kardashian-Jenner family, but Jenner single-handedly built an empire out of her family by being the ultimate momager. She is one of the most respected women behind the scenes in the entertainment industry because of her business sense, and as a result is a multi-millionaire. In terms of power status in the industry, few can beat Kris Jenner.
Lionel Hahn/ABACAPRESS.COM4. Chris Pine
Chris Pine is the kind of actor that can lead a romantic drama just as easy as he can lead a major action film which makes him one of the top four reigning Chrises in Hollywood right now. Many fell in love with hum when he starred alongside Anne Hathaway in the 2004 sequel to The Princess Diaries followed by his role alongside Lindsay Lohan in 2006’s adorably cheesy rom-com Just My Luck. In 2009 Pine’s trajectory in the business changed when he took on the iconic role of James T. Kirk in the revamped Star Trek films. Now he is one of the most popular actors out there and has a very large and loyal fanbase affectionately referred to as Pine-Nuts.
Janet Gough / AFF-USA.COM3. Chris Pratt
If there was a ranking on the most drastic rise in Hollywood, than Chris Pratt would most definitely end up on the top of the list. Chris Pratt first gained attention because of his comedic prowess in Parks and Recreation, but in recent years his evolution into sarcastic superhero Peter Quill/ Star Lord in the MCU and dinosaur tamer Owen Grady in the new Jurassic World films has turned him into a buff heartthrob. Pratt is the whole package with looks, charm, and humor and while he had an impressive career before, it seems he is only hitting his stride now and fans can’t wait to see what else is in store for the goofy and genuine star.
Photo by James M Warren/SilverHub/REX/Shutterstock2. Chris Evans
With there being top four blockbuster stars named Chris in the industry right now, it is always a tough decision when it comes to ranking, but for now the lovable Chris Evans lands at number two. Chris Evans is obviously handsome, but he is also charming, kind, and has displayed the kind of talent that has taken him through extremely different roles in varying genres. From his break out role in the teen film spoof Not Another Teen Movie to the thriller Cellular, to his first entry to the superhero universe as Johnny Storm in 2005’s Fantastic Four, Evans has more than offered up enough skills to make him stand out. There are a lot of reasons to love Chris Evans, and a lot of roles to love him in, but he solidified himself as one of the best of all the Chrises thanks to his epic portrayal of Steve Rogers aka Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
EPA/PAUL BUCK1. Chris Hemsworth
Last, but certainly not least is the top ranking Chris of them all: Chris Hemsworth. Christopher Hemsworth moved to America to conquer Hollywood in the late 2000’s and not only did he conquer the industry, he conquered hearts along the way. While it would have been easy for Hemsworth to be typecast as the strong but silent type, he turned the character of Thor into someone funny, charming, witty and intriguing. Of course, despite the insane schedule he had as Thor in the MCU, he still managed to throw himself into much different roles in films like Snow White and the Huntsman, Ghostbusters, Red Dawn and more. On top of it all, he really is a genuinely sweet guy with a heart of gold, who despite being one of the biggest stars of his generation is really just a fun-loving family man. In terms of looks, personality, and talent, none can surpass Chris Hemsworth.
