21. Miss: Tracee Ellis Ross
Tracee Ellis Ross is always bold with her fashion, which is definitely something we can appreciate about her. We’re not sure her look for this year’s British Fashion Awards was the most flattering though. The heavy neck embellishment and billowing tiers overwhelmed her, especially paired with the experimental braided hairstyle.
2
20. Hit: Poppy Delevingne
Poppy Delevingne wore a frilly tulle dress at this year’s British Fashion Awards that we thought looked stunning on her! The minidress length allowed her figure to show and the tulle felt feminine and fashion-forward.
3
19. Miss: Chiara Ferragni
Chiara Ferragni wore a bold look at this year’s British Fashion Awards that we weren’t the biggest fans of. The look had a lot going on from the multi-dimensional pattern to the vibrant color to the ribcage cutouts.
4
18. Hit: Olivia Culpo
Olivia Culpo looked like Cinderella at this year’s British Fashion Awards! We love this combination of mustard yellow and pale pink which was unexpectedly elegant and chic.
5
17. Miss: Nicole Scherzinger
Nicole Scherzinger missed the mark at the 2019 British Fashion Awards where she stepped out wearing a black patterned dress. There was a lot happening with this look from the fringe to the heavy embellishment and we’re not sure everything flowed together in a flattering way.
6
16. Hit: Sara Sampaio
Sara Sampaio looked angelic at this year’s British Fashion Awards where she stepped out wearing a chic beaded dress. We love how dainty and glitzy this look feels with all the tulle and sparkle.
7
15. Miss: Emma Roberts
Emma Roberts definitely went the experimental route with her ensemble for the British Fashion Awards this year. While we love the black glitter and sweetheart neckline, we have to admit we aren’t the biggest fans of the leather gloves with feathers on them which felt out of place.
8
14. Hit: Lady Amelia Windsor
Lady Amelia Windsor looked so elegant at this year’s British Fashion Awards! We love the flattering pleating and texture of this dress and the black velvet ribbon felt like the perfect final touch, especially during the holiday season.
9
13. Miss: Naomi Watts
Naomi Watts missed the mark at this year’s British Fashion Awards where she stepped out wearing a black velvet gown. The billowing sleeves of this look didn’t feel the most flattering and the entire look lacked a wow factor to really make it stand out.
10
12. Hit: Jourdan Dunn
Jourdan Dunn dazzled at the 2019 Fashion Awards where she rocked this intricate asymmetrical dress. We love all the glamorous ruffles and the metallic sheen of this look which was super flattering.
11
11. Miss: Irina Shayk
Irina Shayk missed the mark with her look for the British Fashion Awards this year. Typically Shayk’s red carpet style is quite glitzy and form-flattering, but this look didn’t seem properly tailored and bunched in all the wrong places.
12
10. Hit: Cate Blanchett
Cate Blanchett stole the show at the annual British Fashion Awards where she stepped out wearing this frosty blue dress! The satin waistband perfectly showcased her figure and the embellished shoulders brought a glam, trendy vibe.
13
9. Miss: Lily James
Lily James missed the mark for the British Fashion Awards this year! We’re all for bow-embellishment, especially during the holiday season, but the oversized gold bow on the chest of this dress felt like a bit of an eyesore.
14
8. Hit: Naomi Campbell
Noami Campbell stole the show at the 2019 British Fashion Awards wearing this silver sheer dress! This look was unique and a total head-turner with all the intricate glitter beading and the flattering halter neckline.
15
7. Miss: Rita Ora
Rita Ora missed the mark with her look for the British Fashion Awards this year. While we typically love black and white ensembles, this abstract look seemed a little over the top, especially paired with the dramatic blue eyeshadow.
16
6. Hit: Rosie Huntington Whiteley
Rosie Huntington Whiteley looked so stunning at the British Fashion Awards this year! We love this chic metallic dress which was simple yet eye-catching at the same time.
17
5. Miss: Emilia Clarke
We admittedly weren’t huge fans of this yellow look worn by Emilia Clarke at the annual British Fashion Awards. The combination of the vibrant color and dramatic sleeves felt like too much when paired together.
18
4. Hit: Julia Roberts
Julia Roberts looked so glamorous at the Britsh Fashion Awards this year. We love this glitzy jumpsuit on her, especially paired with these statement turquoise earrings which were unexpected but the perfect final touch!
19
3. Miss: Alexa Chung
Alexa Chung’s look for the British Fashion Awards got lost within the mix, unfortunately! Chung is a bona fide style icon, but her dress was quite lackluster this year.
20
2. Hit: Rihanna
Rihanna received her first fashion award at the British Fashion Awards this year, and for good reason! Rihanna is a total style icon, and this look proved it. The head-to-toe blue look was experimental enough to make heads turn, but most importantly, it rang true to her personal style.
21
1. Miss: Shailene Woodley
Shailene Woodley missed the mark at the British Fashion Awards this year where she stepped out wearing this blue oversized dress in a winter puffer material. We’re all for trying new trends, but this look was simply too theatrical for an elegant awards show.
