32. The Lavender Look
One of our favorite looks of Kate’s is this gorgeous lavender dress that she’s worn on multiple occasions, and for good reason! The first time she stepped out wearing the Emilia Wickstead number was for an official visit to Germany in July 2017 in which she paired the look with a red clutch. Kate later re-wore the look to the Global Ministerial Health Summit in October 2018 but this time she accessorized with an ivory top-handle bag.

31. The Black Lace Look
This black lace dress is elegant and simple, which is why we understand why Kate Middleton has gravitated to it on multiple occasions! The first time she wore the black Diane von Furstenberg number was in November 2014 for the Royal Variety performance where she styled her hair in a coiffed updo. She later re-wore the look in November 2017 for a gala dinner at Kensington Palace.

30. The Teal Dress
One of Kate’s most memorable looks of all time is this teal Jenny Packham dress with lace detailing on the sleeves. She first wore this gorgeous number to the 2012 Olympic Gala and then brought it back into circulation for the Tusk Conservation Awards in November 2018. The first time she wore the look she styled her hair in a tightly coiled updo, but the second time around she opted for loose waves to change things up.

29. The Black Floral Dress
One of Kate Middleton’s most iconic gala dresses is this black floral gown that she’s worn on multiple occasions. The first time she wore it was quite memorable because it was one of her riskier looks with the off-the-shoulder neckline that bared her shoulders. She wore the look again years later but made some adjustments to it by adding modest cap sleeves.

28. The Polka Dot Dress
Kate Middleton is a huge fan of polka dots and has worn many styles of dresses in this print throughout the years. A new favorite is this navy polka dot number that she wore for the official family portrait for Prince Charles’ birthday in November 2018. She wore it again for a visit to Bletchley Park in May 2019.

27. The Emerald Coat
Kate Middleton is a huge fan of various shades of green and emerald. This particular coat is designed by one of her go-to designers Catherine Walker and features velvet cuffs, collar, and pockets. She wore the coat previously for St. Patrick’s Day in 2017 then again in November 2018 to mark the Centenary of Armistice at Westminster Abbey.

26. The Teal Coat
Kate looked absolutely gorgeous both times she stepped out wearing this teal Sportmax coat! She wore it for the first time while pregnant with Princess Charlotte in 2015. For the occasion, she pulled her hair back in a polished half-updo. Kate stepped out wearing the coat once again in January 2018 when she was pregnant with her third child, Prince Louis. For this occasion, she wore her locks down and in a fresh cropped hairstyle to change things up.

25. The Off-The-Shoulder Look
This white off-the-shoulder dress might be one of Kate’s riskiest looks of all time because of the sheer cutouts, but that didn’t stop her from wearing it twice! The Duchess first wore this dress in 2016, then pulled it out again for a night of glamour in June 2019.
9
24. The Tartan Look
Kate Middleton wore this tartan Alexander McQueen dress coat back in November 2012, then brought it out again just a year later for Christmas Day in 2013. We hadn’t seen the memorable number for a few years since then, but the Duchess shocked everyone when she pulled it out again in January 2019 to open the V&A Dundee in Scotland.

23. The Red Coat
Kate Middleton first wore this Catherine Walker coatdress back in 2014 while visiting New Zealand. The look made a statement with the bold metallic buttons and pillbox hat. In 2019, she pulled the ensemble out again for an appearance at a Commonwealth Day service. She paired the look with a circular fascinator and opted for a low chignon instead to make the style look fresh and different.
11
22. The Printed Dress
Animal print isn’t just a trend that circles among Hollywood starlets, but also within the royal family! Kate Middleton definitely has a soft spot for this black and white leopard print dress that she’s been photographed wearing on multiple occasions throughout the years. She wore it for the first time in 2013 paired with a half-up hairstyle and black fascinator, then once again in 2015 with a ponytail and black clutch.
12
21. The Michael Kors Coat
This speckled Michael Kors coat is a Kate Middleton favorite and has been spotted on the Duchess on multiple occasions throughout the years! She wore it in 2016 while opening a new playground at Hampton Court Palace and again in 2014 when she attended an Anzac Day remembrance service. Most recently, she wore the coat with a wide brim hat and her hair up for a dedication service for the new Iraq and Afghanistan memorial in March 2017. With the wide brim hat and polished updo, Royal fans couldn’t help but compare her look to Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany’s!
13
20. The Grey Coat
Since this coat is such a bold print, it was even more obvious when the Duchess decided to repeat it a few years later! She was first spotted wearing this sophisticated Missoni coat to the Somme Centenary commemorations in June 2016 in which she styled it with a pillbox hat and simple black pumps. In April 2017 she was spotted wearing the coat again, this time styled with a bolder fascinator and a pair of black tights.
14
19. The Ivory Gown
The Duchess of Cambridge isn’t too shy to wear a gala gown twice, especially since she’s mastered the key to making a dress look different the second time around. She first wore this ivory Roland Mouret gown to a dinner hosted by The Thirty Club at Claridge’s in May 2012. She left her hair down and wispy and styled the dress quite minimally with a simple pair of drop-style earrings. The second time around Kate was spotted wearing the same ivory gown to a Royal Film Performance of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom at Odeon Leicester Square. This time, however, she donned a half-up hairstyle and added a chunky silver necklace to style the simple dress differently.
15
18. The Magenta Coat
This brightly colored outerwear piece has been one of Kate’s go-to’s during her maternity days. The magenta Mulberry number is straight cut so it works perfectly to flatter a budding baby bump. The first time we spotted her wearing this memorable piece was in December 2014 during a New York City visit with Prince William. She’s repeated the coat multiple times since, including most recently in January 2018 at the Coventry Cathedral during her third pregnancy.
16
17. The Blue Coat
Brightly colored outerwear isn’t just a favorite of the Queen, but also the Duchess of Cambridge! Another one of her staple coats is this muted blue number by Alexander McQueen, the same fashion house that designed her iconic lace wedding dress. Kate was first spotted wearing the McQueen coat in 2014 at the “Knights of the Sky” exhibition in Wellington, New Zealand. She later was spotted wearing the same coat in February 2016 during a celebration for the 75th Anniversary of the RAF Air Cadets London. Of course, for each occasion, she switched up her brooch to coordinate with the event.
17
16. The Lace Dress
When Kate finds a strong dress that fits well and flatters her figure, she sticks with it and isn’t afraid to wear it on multiple occasions. The Duchess has been spotted wearing this chic black Temperley lace dress for multiple royal engagements and events. In November 2012, she was spotted pairing it with a red clutch for a 600th-anniversary reception and dinner for St. Andrews in London. One year later in December 2013, she brought the Temperley dress out again and wore it for a screening of David Attenborough’s Natural History Museum Alive in London.
18
15. The Grey Dress
One of Kate Middleton’s go-to tricks to styling a dress for the second time is changing up her hairstyle as she did with this dove grey number. She was first photographed wearing the Roksana Ilincic dress in July 2012 to attend the UK Creative Industries Reception where she pulled her hair up in a polished low bun. A few years later, in July 2016, she rocked the dress for a second time at a lunch reception at the Anna Freud Centre and changed things up by wearing her hair wavy and loose.
19
14. The Purple Look
Meghan first stepped out wearing this vibrant purple Aritzia dress while visiting Birkenhead with Prince Harry. She styled the look with a cherry red coat and wore her hair in her signature messy bun. Despite being pregnant the first time she wore this dress, the Duchess stepped out wearing the number again in October 2019. This time she skipped on the bright coat and wore her hair in a glossy blowout.
20
13. The Wedding Guest Look
Kate Middleton has seemingly perfected her wedding guest look and has been spotted wearing this muted gold look for multiple civil ceremonies! She was first spotted wearing this look when she was just Prince William’s girlfriend back in 2006 for the wedding of Laura Parker-Bowles. Later in 2012, she wore the dress again to attend the wedding of Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall in Scotland. This time around, however, she wore her hair in an elegant half-up style with a side slanted fascinator on her head.
21
12. The Engagement Dress
When Meghan and Harry stepped out to announce their engagement in November 2017, Meghan wore a green dress layered with a white wrap coat. She stepped out wearing the special dress again in October 2019 while attending the WellChild Awards Ceremony in London. This time, she styled it with a taupe coat which she wore draped over her shoulders.
22
11. The Gala Dress
Once again, Kate proves that once you find a dress that works, there’s no shame in sticking with it. She was first spotted in this Jenny Packham gown for The Portrait Gala in February 2014 then wore it again later that same year in December for a gala in New York. The second time around she changed her look up slightly by pulling her hair into an elegant low bun to allow the bateau neckline and sapphire earrings to really shine.
23
10. The White Button-Up Shirt
In September 2019, Meghan Markle launched a women’s workwear line in collaboration with SmartWorks and many local designers. To support the initiative, Markle herself was spotted wearing pieces from the collection on multiple occasions. For the launch event, she wore the button-up white blouse from the collection, which she styled again with a denim jacket during the Royal Africa tour later that month.
24
9. The Eyelet Dress
Kate Middleton is a huge fan of feminine textures such as lace and eyelet, which is why we aren’t surprised she’s been spotted in this white summer dress on multiple occasions. She wore it for the first time in April 2014 on the official Royal tour of Australia and New Zealand. She wore it once again just a few months later at Wimbledon where she was photographed in the stands in July 2014.
25
8. The Blue Shirt Dress
On the first day of the royal Africa tour, Meghan recycled a Veronica Beard dress that she previously wore during the royal Australia tour from fall 2018. The first time she wore the bright blue dress she styled her hair in a ponytail and paired the dress with powder blue pumps. The second time around, Meghan styled the dress with her go-to black wrap wedges and wore her hair down in soft waves.
26
7. The Floral Dress
This floral L.K. Bennet dress was one of Kate Middleton’s most popular looks of all time, which is why it’s not unexpected that she’s worn it more than once. The first time she rocked this summery number was in April 2014 for the official royal tour of Australia and New Zealand. She wore it once again in August 2016 during a Royal visit to Luton.
27
6. The Striped Dress
On the second day of the royal Africa tour, Meghan recycled a flowing striped maxi dress by Martin Grant that she also wore during the Australia tour last year. The first time she wore this dress she opted for a low ponytail but changed things up the second time around by styling her hair in loose waves.
28
5. The Red Suit
This Luisa Spagnoli skirt suit has been brought out on multiple occasions throughout the years and is one of Kate Middleton’s signature looks! The first time she rocked the statement number was in February 2011 at the University of St. Andrews before the royal duo were officially married. She stepped out wearing this chic look again in 2015 at a Cricket World Cup event during the Royal New Zealand tour.
29
4. The Sentaler Coat
Sentaler is a Toronto-based luxury coat label that Meghan has proved to love throughout the years. She was first spotted rocking a wrap-style coat from the brand while attending a Christmas Day service with Prince Harry in December 2017. She obviously loved the coat so much that she picked it up in a bright red color too, which she debuted in January 2019.
30
3. The Yellow Dress
This yellow and white dress is definitely quite distinct, which is why we recall Kate Middleton wearing it more than one time for public appearances. The first time she was spotted in the statement number was in April 2014 while holding Prince George during their Australia and New Zealand Royal tour. She later wore the same dress to a Wimbledon match in 2016 where she was able to be spotted from a mile away in this head-turning number.
31
2. The Trench Jacket
Meghan stepped out in Africa re-wearing a gorgeous pink trench dress that she first wore in July 2018 during a visit to the Nelson Mandela Centenary Exhibition. Whether coincidentally or not, the Duchess repeated the blush trench dress for another Nelson Mandela-related engagement where she met with Graca Machel, the wife of the late Nelson Mandela. For the occasion, she styled her hair styled in a low, loose bun and accessorized with beige heels.
32
1. The Jenny Packham Dress
One of the most memorable Kate Middleton looks of all time is this blush pink shimmering Jenny Packham gown that we don’t blame her for wearing on multiple occasions! The first time she wore the striking look was early on in her royal days in June 2011 just shortly following her wedding to Prince William. She looked every bit the blushing bride with her hair in loose waves and skin glowing. In 2016 she opted for the elegant look once again for a gala dinner at Houghton Hall, but this time she swept her hair into a polished updo.
