Actress Eva Longoria shined in a Marchesa gown which featured multicolored crystals, layered tulle sleeves and a plunging neckline. The unique shape of the dress makes Longoria look angelic and ultra refined as she floated across the Cannes red carpet. Her teased updo and drop-style earrings added the perfect amount of Hollywood glamour to this stunning red carpet ensemble.

Victoria Secret angel Doutzen Kroes radiated in a custom Balmain gown studded in head to toe silver glitter. The high neckline mixed with mesh detailing along the elbows and knees made this dress a serious show-stopper. Doutzen’s slicked back half-up hairstyle showcased her runway-worthy cheekbones and the subtle smokey eye she rocked played in perfectly with the silver coloring of the dress.

Italian model Tina Kunakey definitely made a name for herself on the Cannes red carpet this year. Her lavender Armani Prive dress featuring halter details, a plunging neckline and sheer skirt made our jaws drop. The pastel shade of this dress does wonders for Kunakey’s complexion and the whimsical design and playful layering of this look granted Kunakey a well deserved spot on our best dressed list.

Supermodel Irina Shayk radiated in a golden Atelier Versace gown that showed off her impressive post-pregnancy figure flawlessly. This floor-length gown covered entirely in sequins made her sun-kissed skin glow on the red carpet. Bright yellow initially seems a difficult colour to pull off, but Irina does so fabulously and totally changed our minds about the seemingly unwearable shade. The thigh-high slit, plunging neckline and body-flattering ruching left us in awe of Shayk’s glamorous red carpet style.

Adriana Lima stunned in an ivory, bridal-inspired Naeem Khan gown that featured a slim silhouette and sweetheart neckline. The dress was minimal enough that her diamond Chopard bib necklace and subtle red details really made a statement. Lima’s raven colored locks were slicked back into a polished half-up style and her stark crimson pout and cherry red nails were a perfect contrast to the pure white coloring of the gown.

Victoria Secret angel Elsa Hosk looked stunning in an elegant powder blue Alberta Ferretti gown featuring a high slit and an elegant off the shoulder neckline. Her classic Hollywood waves and diamond dangling earrings added the perfect Cinderella final touch to her look. The satin texture of the gown channeled serious princess vibes, but Hosk still added a sexy twist onto the look by featuring a revealing slit to showcase her long, glowing legs.

Runway model Bella Hadid looked both alluring and graceful in her silk Alexandre Gauthie gown featuring a strapless neckline and ruched detailing along the front. Her sapphire necklace popped against the pale pink dress and added a bold touch of Hollywood glamour. Hadid has made thigh high slits an icon during her time on the red carpet and is rarely seen in a dress without one, which clearly is working for her! Hadid kept her hair and makeup quite natural by incorporating glowing cheekbones and natural textured waves in her cropped hair.

The ivory Vivienne Westwood gown Elle Fanning donned this Cannes Film Festival was both unique and eye-catching. It was traditional with its sweetheart neckline and glamorous train, but also mixed in contemporary style with the colorful unicorn embroidery trailing along the back. In terms of beauty, Fanning slicked her hair back in a ballerina-inspired bun and rocked a bold red pout that tied in flawlessly with the cherry-colored embroidered detailing of her dress.

Diane Kruger never fails to wow us with her red carpet looks and has followed suit at the Cannes Film Festival with this princess-inspired Dior gown. The detailed scalloping, ruffled layers and open back were both elegant and romantic. Although the scalloped layering has undeniably been done before on the red carpet, Kruger made this look contemporary by adding trendy diamond and black stacked chokers. Her hair was textured and whimsical, but tied back into a low chignon to truly allow the sequined detailing of the front of the dress to shine.
