38. Miss: Michelle Williams
Michelle Williams opted for tangerine at this year’s Golden Globes, but we have to admit we have mixed reviews! While we love this shade of muted orange against her fair complexion, the detailing of the dress seemed a little odd, especially with the asymmetrical neckline and random pop of blue over her shoulder.
EPA/NINA PROMMER37. Hit: Kristen Cavalleri
Kristen Cavalleri dazzled at the Golden Globes where she opted for a sleek pink and white gown. We love the contrast color blocking and the sultry cutout on the ribcage.

Zoey Deutch wore marigold yellow for the Golden Globes this year! While we love this color against her auburn tresses and porcelain skin, we’re not sure the shape of this dress was the most flattering. The sleeves overwhelmed her figure and felt unnecessarily oversized.
Photo by Lionel Hahn/ABACAPRESS.COM35. Hit: Tiffany Haddish
Tiffany Haddish rocked bubblegum pink at this year’s Golden Globes and she undeniably had all eyes on her! This color looks fabulous on her and the ruched detailing on the waist really highlighted her hourglass figure.
Photo by Lionel Hahn/ABACAPRESS.COM34. Miss: Jodie Comer
Jodie Comer rocked emerald green at the Golden Globes this year which looked absolutely stunning on her. We can’t seem to get over the oversized cap sleeve detail though, which seemed like more of a distraction than an interesting detail.
Photo by Lionel Hahn/ABACAPRESS.COM33. Hit: Helen Mirren
Helen Mirren channeled old Hollywood at this year’s Golden Globes where she rocked a rich wine-colored dress. We love the crossover detailing on the chest and the bateau neckline, which made the dress appear super luxurious and glam.
EPA/NINA PROMMER32. Miss: Lisa Bonet
Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa opted for boho-chic for the Golden Globes red carpet this year. Lisa Bonet is typically a red carpet all-star, but we’re not sure this look was her most flattering. The muted grey color seemed to wash out her complexion and the oversized feather embroidery lacked the red carpet glamour factor.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)31. Hit: Leslie Bibb
Leslie Bibb looked radiant in this sparkling tiered gown that she rocked at the 2020 Golden Globes. Tiers are a tricky trend to pull off, but Bibb’s tall, slender build is perfect for it! She looked so glamorous.
EPA/NINA PROMMER30. Miss: Molly Sims
Molly Sims opted for sparkle and ruffles at this year’s Golden Globes. While we love this soft mauve color against her skin tone, we’re not sure the combination of the drop neckline, sparkles, and ruffles flowed together well. There seemed to be too many details competing for attention!
EPA/NINA PROMMER29. Hit: Amy Poehler
Amy Poehler nailed her red carpet look for the Golden Globes this year. We love the sparkling emerald texture of this dress, but the structured shoulders and belted waist made this look even better.
EPA/NINA PROMMER28. Miss: Kirsten Dunst
Kirsten Dunst opted for pale pink lace at the 2020 Golden Globes this year. We felt this color wasn’t the most flattering against her fair complexion and seemed to wash her out. We also weren’t the biggest fans of the ruffled neckline and drop-style waist, which made this look appear somewhat outdated.
Photo by Lionel Hahn/ABACAPRESS.COM27. Hit: Isla Fisher
Isla Fisher stole the show in this fuschia off-the-shoulder gown at the 2020 Golden Globes. This color looks absolutely fabulous on her and the dramatic neckline was perfect for a glamorous red carpet event like the Globes.
EPA/NINA PROMMER26. Miss: Shailene Woodley
Shailene Woodley missed the mark with her red carpet look at this year’s 2020 Golden Globes. While we love the unique contrast of navy and black, we’re not sure this neckline was the most flattering.
EPA/NINA PROMMER25. Hit: Dakota Fanning
Dakota Fanning looked like a Disney princess at the 2020 Golden Globes where she rocked this lilac tulle dress! The color was super flattering against her blonde tresses and fair skin tone. We also love the braided detail on the waist and the puff sleeves added something unique without being over the top.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)24. Miss: Lucy Boynton
Lucy Boynton opted for silver metallics on the red carpet this year at the Golden Globes! While we typically love something sparkly for a glamorous red carpet, we’re not sure this look was what we had in mind. The texture of this silver gown seemed overly shiny which made it feel a little tacky, especially with the lace embroidery around the neckline.
Photo by Lionel Hahn/ABACAPRESS.COM23. Hit: Ana de Armas
Knives Out star Ana de Armas dazzled at the Golden Globes where she stepped out wearing this dramatic navy gown. The midnight blue sparkle and full voluminous skirt paired together perfectly!
Photo by Lionel Hahn/ABACAPRESS.COM22. Miss: Sienna Miller
Sienna Miller missed the mark at this year’s Golden Globes where she wore a multi-colored satin halter dress. This look seemed better suited for a casual summer day than for the glamorous Golden Globes.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)21. Hit: Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon opted for a sleek white gown for the 2020 Golden Globes that we absolutely loved! The asymmetrical neckline and taffeta ruffle on the bodice were the perfect example of understated glamour.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)20. Miss: Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek has had major red carpet wins in the past, which is why we have high expectations when she steps out onto the red carpet. We have to admit we were a little disappointed with her Golden Globes look this year. The blue lace top and the sleek white bottom seemed to appear like they were from two totally different dresses and didn’t flow together!
Photo by Lionel Hahn/ABACAPRESS.COM19. Hit: Naomi Watts
Naomi Watts opted for black sparkle at the Golden Globes this year and we were huge fans! We love the flattering halter neckline of this dress which felt a little retro but also classic since the rest of the dress is so simple and timeless.
Photo by Lionel Hahn/ABACAPRESS.COM18. Miss: Charlize Theron
Charlize Theron had an unfortunate fashion miss at the Golden Globes this year. The star opted for a bright green dress that featured a black corset underlay peeking out from below. We weren’t the biggest fans of this contrasting color combination which felt harsh and unexpected.
Photo by Lionel Hahn/ABACAPRESS.COM17. Hit: Renee Zellweger
Renee Zellweger dressed to perfection for the Golden Globes this year where she stepped out wearing this simple frosty blue dress. We love the delicate sparkle which lined the hemline and the thigh-high slit which added a little sultriness.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)16. Miss: Cate Blanchett
We admittedly weren’t fans of this avant-garde look that Cate Blanchett wore for the Golden Globes this year. The bold pleated sleeves and textured cutout bustier felt quite overwhelming paired together.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)15. Hit: Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston looked radiant at the Golden Globes this year where she opted for a floor-sweeping black gown. Aniston is typically quite simple when it comes to fashion, so this look certainly rings true to her personal style. We love the ruching along the bustline which added something unique and different.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)14. Miss: Taylor Swift
Pop sensation Taylor Swift, unfortunately, let us down with her red carpet look for this year’s Golden Globes! While we love the glamorous shape and cutout detail on this dress, we felt that the pattern wasn’t the most flattering.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)13. Hit: Zoe Kravitz
We love this sleek and dainty polka-dotted dress that Zoe Kravitz opted for at the Golden Globes this year. The combination of the mismatched small-scale and large-scale polka dots felt super high-fashion!
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)12. Miss: Joey King
Joey King went the experimental route with her Golden Globes ensemble this year, but we’re not sure we’re the biggest fans. The dress felt better suited for a more theatrical red carpet like the Met Gala!
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)11. Hit: Busy Phillips
Busy Phillips looked stunning at the Golden Globes this year where she rocked a deep red sequined gown! We love the flattering ruching along the front of this dress and the dainty straps made it feel so elegant.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)10. Miss: Margot Robbie
Margot Robbie definitely left us disappointed with her red carpet look for this year’s Golden Globes. The star opted for a sequined tube top paired with white trousers which seemed to lack that glam red carpet-factor we love to see. This look simply felt a little too casual for the Globes!
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)9. Hit: Nicole Kidman
Nicole Kidman looked so elegant at this year’s Golden Globes! The actress opted for a siren red strapless gown which ruched along the bodice and flattered her slender figure in all the right ways.
Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP8. Miss: Rachel Bilson
Rachel Bilson opted for a black lace dress for this year’s Golden Globes that we admittedly weren’t the biggest fans of. This dress had a lot of details competing for attention from the peplum top to the lace bustier and gold embroidery.
Photo by Lionel Hahn/ABACAPRESS.COM7. Hit: Saoirse Ronan
Saoirse Ronan looked angelic at the 2020 Golden Globes where she stepped out wearing this silver metallic number. We love how simple yet glamorous this glitzy look feels!
Photo by Lionel Hahn/ABACAPRESS.COM6. Miss: Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow missed the mark with her look for the 2020 Golden Globes. From the sheer tulle to the tiered skirt to the unflattering shade of brown, this entire ensemble was a definite head-scratcher.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)5. Hit: Sofia Vergara
Sofia Vergara stunned at the Golden Globes this year where she rocked a body-hugging crimson number. We love the metallic beading outlining the hemlines of this dress which flattered her hourglass figure flawlessly.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)4. Miss: Kerry Washington
Kerry Washington bared it all at the Golden Globes this year, which we’re not sure was the most flattering! This look felt like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)3. Hit: Scarlett Johansson
Scarlett Johansson looked so glamorous at the 2020 Golden Globes where she rocked this ruffled red dress. We love the flattering sweetheart neckline and the taffeta detailing which channeled old Hollywood perfectly.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)2. Miss: Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez had a rare fashion misstep at this year’s 2020 Golden Globes where she opted for a floor-sweeping gown that featured an oversized bow on the bodice. While we love the bow trend that’s circled the past few months, we have to admit this one felt like more of a distraction than a flattering detail.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)1. Hit: Priyanka Chopra
Of all the looks at this year’s Golden Globes, our favorite has to be this dramatic pink gown that Priyanka Chopra opted for. The number fit her like a glove and featured pleating in all the right places to flatter her figure and add a red carpet glamour factor.
