Published on March 14, 2014. Updated April 5, 2017

Rachel Bilson grabbed our attention as the adorable and hilarious Summer Roberts on “The O.C.,” but she’s kept our attention over the past decade with her killer sense of style. The “Hart of Dixie” star has always been fashionable, but her red carpet outfits seem to get better with each event. See how Rachel’s style has transformed since 2005:

10. Writers Guild Awards (2005)

The calf-length dress that Rachel Bilson wore to the Writers Awards in 2005 is simple but classic. Even though a black dress is pretty standard and safe, this one is definitely unique, with the sheer sections at the top, the frills and the length. “The O.C.” star is proving that she is a budding fashionista.

9. Teen Choice Awards (2006)

Bilson rocked another little black dress at the 2006 Teen Choice Awards. This Zac Posen dress is definitely riskier than the one she wore to the Writers Guild Awards. The overlapping straps on the décolletage make this dress interesting. The cut is perfect on Bilson and her style is already becoming more sophisticated.

Rachel Bilson seems to have a thing for little black dresses but, unlike some celebrities, her black dresses always stand out. This bejeweled Chanel dress that she wore to the Chanel and P.S. Party in 2007 is a stunner. She looks sleek but sultry and the jeweled details give the look an extra kick.
