25. Hit: Premiere of The Promise 2017
We absolutely love this chic gold dress that Kim wore to the premiere of The Promise. The look hugged her curves to show off her figure without showing too much skin! It was sultry, but still totally modest and glam.
Shutterstock24. Miss: People’s Choice Nomination Announcement 2007
Kim had an unfortunate fashion miss when she attended the People’s Choice nomination announcement in 2007. Her attempt at business chic definitely fell flat, especially paired with chunky boots!
Shutterstock23. Hit: InStyle Awards 2015
Kim’s style has evolved significantly throughout the years, but she really started settling into her personal style in 2015. We love the sleek shape and elegant cape of this Valentino maternity look she wore to the InStyle Awards in 2015.

We have to admit we weren’t the biggest fans of the look that Kim wore to the Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub Third Anniversary. Her dress simply had too much going on between the heavy embroidery, cutouts, and glitter.

Kim dazzled when she stepped out at the Met Gala in a gold Versace number in 2018. The gold sequined masterpiece fit her like a glove and perfectly showed off her impossibly curvy figure.

On the other hand, one of Kim’s gold looks that missed the mark was this gold blouse that she paired with black wide-leg jeans in 2008. The ensemble wasn’t strategic in flattering her figure and needed another trip to the tailor to get right. It’s clear that Kim’s style has evolved significantly since then!
Shutterstock19. Hit: LACMA Gala 2014
One of our favorite Kim Kardashian looks of all time is this stunning blue satin dress she wore to the LACMA gala in 2014. The dress was simple yet chic with the asymmetrical detailing and sultry slit. We love how she accessorized with a chunky diamond choker and pulled her hair back into a sleek, elegant style.
Shutterstock18. Miss: Fragrance Launch 2011
One of Kim’s satin looks that didn’t quite hit the mark, however, was this purple and orange dress that she wore to her fragrance launch in 2011. These two strong colors definitely seem to clash and the chunky gold belt she accessorized with added even more distraction.

Another stunning Kim Kardashian look is when she stepped out at the Tiffany Blue Book gala wearing this slinky ivory dress! The stunning number fit her like a glove and was perfectly accessorized with a chunky robin egg blue choker.

While we often love when Kim Kardashian steps out wearing a suit, we have to admit we didn’t love this tuxedo look she wore to the LACMA gala in 2017. Rather than being tastefully oversized, the entire look seemed simply too large for her by the long sleeves on the blazer and dragging hemline on the pants.

Kim looked radiant in this sheer Roberto Cavalli creation that she wore to the Met Gala in 2015. The number was super glamorous with the long feathered train and had so much detail incorporated within the lace.

While glamorous, sheer dresses seem to be a Kim Kardashian classic, that’s not to say she hasn’t missed the mark on occasion wearing this style. One of these not-so-fab looks was when she stepped out at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in 2014. The combination of the leather corset and sheer crystal skirt didn’t seem to quite flow together.

Kim Kardashian dazzled in this jet black velvet dress at the 2019 Emmys. We love how she accessorized with a chunky silver necklace, which really brought a glamour factor to the otherwise quite simplistic look.

Kim Kardashian is a huge fan of head-to-toe black ensembles, but this doesn’t always work in her favor. She had an unfortunate fashion miss at the 2014 Diamond Ball where she rocked a black mesh dress with a long satin trench. The mesh came across a little tacky rather than tactful.

No one could forget this luxe purple dress that Kim wore to the SAG Awards in 2011. The combination of the gold embroidery and asymmetrical neckline made the dress a true show-stopper when paired together.

Kim stepped out in a daring lace dress back in 2015 while attending the LACMA gala; however, we can’t say that we were the biggest fans. The look bared quite a lot of skin and definitely missed the mark when it comes to modesty and class. We do, however, love her beauty look which consisted of a deep oxblood lip and polished ponytail.
Shutterstock9. Hit: Critics’ Choice Awards 2011
Kim dazzled in this rust-colored dress that she wore to the Critics’ Choice Awards in 2011. Kim’s style wasn’t the most evolved during this time period, so this dress definitely deserves even more praise because of that. We love this rich shade of reddish-orange on Kim’s skin tone and the ruffled skirt brings a fabulous drama factor to the look.
Shutterstock8. Miss: Grammys 2012
Kim, unfortunately, missed the mark with this cobalt blue dress she wore to the 2012 Grammys. While this shade of cobalt certainly suits her skin tone, the embellishment on the chest seemed to totally distract from the look and seemed out of place.

Kim looked stunning in this vibrant green dress that she wore in 2012. The luxe velvet texture and flattering wrap-style of this dress worked perfectly to complement her hourglass figure.

Kim, unfortunately, missed the mark with her look for the 2015 VMAs. We found that the chocolate brown shade of this dress did nothing to complement her complexion and there was too much detail happening at once to be flattering. From the cargo-style pockets to the lace-up chest, this look felt quite overwhelming.
Shutterstock5. Hit: Met Gala 2017
Kim looked totally angelic at the 2017 Met Gala where she stepped out rocking this elegant off-the-shoulder dress. The look fit her like a dream and the crisp shade of white popped against her bronzed complexion and raven-like tresses.

In her earlier days on the red carpet, Kim was still trying to work out her personal style. Her looks were undeniably sultry but didn’t always have a trend forward-quality to them as they do now. In 2007, she attended a jewelry launch rocking this nude bustier-style top and a black pencil skirt. The proportions of this look were all wrong and the look felt a little too lingerie-inspired for such a classy event.

Kim dazzled on the red carpet for the La Traviata premiere in Rome back in 2016. We love the elegant simplicity of this look; however, it still brought the drama with the asymmetrical neckline and the gold platform shoes that Kim paired with it.

We’re not sure what Kim was thinking when she stepped out at the Comcast Entertainment Cocktail Party wearing this wildly patterned purple dress. In her later years, Kim’s style definitely evolved to favor more basic, solid-colored pieces, so it’s definitely a shock to see that she stepped out wearing something this bold back in 2010.

1. Hit: Met Gala 2016
One of our favorite Kim Kardashian looks of all time was this silver armor-like dress that she wore to the 2016 Met Gala. The look was classy and eye-catching for all the right reasons! There was so much detail involved with this look, but it still encapsulated that classic Kim Kardashian glamour factor.
