In 2019, the women of Hollywood definitely delivered when it came to fashion on both the red carpet and with their casual street style looks. While many celebrities have their own unique sense of fashion, there are definitely a few stand out stars who topped the charts for their ability to start trends and dress elegantly. 20. Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood has had a record year when it comes to fashion. She never steps out looking anything less than perfect on the red carpet and always steals the show at the country music awards shows. A personal favorite is this long sleeve beaded dress she wore to the CMT Awards earlier this year.

19. Celine Dion

Celine Dion is a bona fide fashion icon and we love that she isn’t afraid to be experimental with her fashion. One of her best looks of the years was this white minidress she wore during Paris Fashion Week in July. The elegant off-the-shoulder neckline and dramatic sleeves were a work of art.

18. Gemma Chan

Crazy Rich Asians star Gemma Chan was a breakout fashion icon this year. While she nailed all of her red carpet looks this year, a stand out has to be this sparkling fringe number she wore to the Vanity Fair after-party following the Oscars. It was glitzy, elevated and chic, especially paired with a red lip.

17. Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez has been in the spotlight for decades and her style has always been fabulous. In 2019, Lopez continued to experiment with her fashion, which was amazing to witness. One of our favorite daring looks of hers was this blue sequined gown with a fan-inspired detail that she wore to the Oscar’s Vanity Fair after-party.

16. Elsa Hosk

The gorgeous supermodel Elsa Hosk definitely made a name for herself in the fashion industry this year! Our favorite look of hers in 2019 was this purple feathered look she wore to the Cannes Film Festival. We love how glam this feels and the unexpected pop of pink on her shoe was perfection.

15. Sophie Turner

Sophie Turner stole the show at this year’s Emmy Awards where she opted for this pale pink satin gown, which is why we had to name her one of the best-dressed women of the year. The dainty, elegant feel of this look was perfect, especially when contrasted with a diamond choker necklace and metallic heels.

14. Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra is one of Hollywood’s most well-dressed women and somehow continues to get even more stylish year after year. We absolutely love this white Cinderella dress she wore to the Cannes Film Festival in 2019. All the soft tulle and ruffle detailing felt so angelic and elegant!

13. Sandra Oh

Sandra Oh had a fantastic year on the red carpet in 2019! She continued to bring her A-game at every awards show, but our absolute favorite look has to be this white ruched number she wore to the 2019 Golden Globes. We love the shoulder detailing and how she styled her hair in these old Hollywood-inspired finger waves.

12. Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie had quite a few epic fashion moments this year, especially with all the red carpets surrounding the premiere of Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. One of our favorite 2019 looks of hers, however, was this brunt orange floaty number she wore to the red carpet premiere of the film. This is a color we rarely see on the red carpet, which made it feel super refreshing and unique.

11. Mandy Moore

Mandy Moore had a career revival the past few years ever since she took on the role of Rebecca Pearson on This Is Us. We also couldn’t help but take note of many of her fabulous red carpet moments this year, which definitely qualified her as one of the best-dressed women of 2019. Our favorite look of hers this year was the off-the-shoulder sultry number she wore to the SAG Awards.

10. Regina King

2019 was Regina King’s year when it came to awards shows and style! She dazzled on every red carpet she appeared on without a single misstep. The most memorable look of hers in 2019 has to be this pink sparkling number she wore to the Golden Globes. It hugged her curves perfectly and had the perfect amount of glitz to have all eyes on her.

9. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is one of this generation’s most stylish women and always predicts the trends before they become mainstream. 2019 was no exception when it comes to Kim’s fabulous style. Our favorite look of hers from 2019 has to be this sleek snakeskin dress she wore to the People’s Choice Awards! It showed off her hourglass figure flawlessly and had the perfect amount of detail to be interesting yet still classy.

Hailey Baldwin-turned-Bieber was definitely one of the most talked-about stars this year, especially after her grand wedding to Justin Bieber in the fall. She’s a street style expert but definitely brings her A-game to the red carpet as well. We absolutely love this chic and sleek pink look she wore to the Met Gala this year!

Rosie-Huntington Whitely definitely made waves in the fashion industry this year with her chic and sophisticated sense of style. She always looks put together whether taking a casual mirror selfie at home or stepping out onto the red carpet for a glam night out. We love this sleek white dress with sheer detailing that she wore to the premiere of Fast & Furious. It’s the perfect combination of effortless yet sultry.

Kendall Jenner is another star who continues to pave the way in the fashion industry. She’s walked the runways for countless high-end fashion designers, so there’s no surprise that she knows all the upcoming trends before the rest of the world. One of our favorite looks of hers from 2019 was the orange feathered number she wore to the Met Gala.

5. Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga was another star who was trending in the fashion industry this year, especially with the release of her feature film A Star Is Born. She dazzled on all the awards show red carpets, but our favorite was this chic black look she wore to the Oscars. The look was inspired by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Gaga even wore the iconic necklace that Hepburn wore in 1962.

4. Zendaya

Zendaya was one of the most talked-about stars this year when it came to fashion! She had quite a few winning fashion moments, both in street style and the red carpet, but our all-time favorite look of hers for the year was this emerald number she wore to the Emmys. The combination of the sheer corset bodice and the sleek satin skirt was totally flawless.

3. Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner is definitely one of the biggest influences on style for the younger generation. Her street style is simple, sporty and chic, but she definitely knows how to bring a glamour factor when she hits the red carpet. Our favorite Kylie look of 2019 has to be the purple feathered look she wore to the Met Gala.

2. Meghan Markle

In 2019, Meghan Markle continued to dazzle with her fashion choices in the royal world. Her style is chic and trendy yet still totally elegant. We loved this navy look she wore to the Remembrance Day services this year. It was the perfect combination of glamorous, fashion-forward yet still classic.

Kate Middleton continued her fashion reign over the world during 2019. Kate’s style has evolved quite a bit throughout the years, but we love that in 2019 she began opting for more trendy, fashion-forward pieces like culottes, trousers, and this lace dress! We can’t wait to see what the Duchess has in store for 2020.
