The Best & Worst Celebrity Outfits Of July 2019 Ranked

Published on August 2, 2019.

The month of July was filled with amazing fashion moments from Paris Fashion Week, the EPSYs and the premiere of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, among other events! While we were blown away by so many celebrity style moments this month, there were also a few that unfortunately let us down. Follow along for a roundup of all the best and worst celebrity outfits of July 2019:

15. Best: Mandy Moore — July 1st

Mandy Moore stepped out at Paris Fashion Week in early July looking absolutely fabulous, and clearly, all the photographers thought so too! She opted for a crisp white pantsuit which she paired with eye-catching neon pink heels. To tie together the heels and her beauty look, Moore wore a shade of bright pink on her lips, which totally pulled the ensemble together!

14. Worst: Irina Shayk — July 14th

Irina Shayk is drop-dead gorgeous, there’s no denying that. Unfortunately, her outfit for the FIA Formula E Championship Awards Dinner in New York didn’t do her justice! The black lace on her bodysuit and the dramatic print on her skirt seemed to totally clash, which was quite the fashion letdown in our books.

13. Best: Gabrielle Union — July 10th

Gabrielle Union stunned at the EPSYS red carpet in early July where she stepped out wearing this eye-catching long sleeve floral number. The look flawlessly showed off her hourglass figure and appeared like a high couture a piece of art with all the intricate detail involved.

12. Worst: Ciara — July 10th

While we think Ciara looked absolutely beautiful at this year’s EPSYS, her dress simply felt a little skimpy for our liking! Clearly, Ciara has a perfect figure, but she put a little too much skin on display than we would have liked.

11. Best: Elle Fanning — July 10th

Elle Fanning stole the show at the 2019 EPSYs where she rocked a floor-length silver glittering gown. The one-shoulder asymmetrical detail of this look really added something different and unique rather than it just being any other sequin dress we see on the red carpet.

10. Worst: Sofia Vergara — July 22nd

While this dress definitely showed off Sofia Vergara’s figure flawlessly, we have to admit we aren’t huge fans of the detailing on this dress. The lace-up design feels more suited for a pair of running shoes than as a pattern on a dress.

9. Best: Vanessa Hudgens — July 22nd

Vanessa Hudgens dazzled at the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood premiere where she stepped out in this sheer black dress. The shape and detail of this dress perfectly flattered her figure to show off an hourglass shape, and the pockets really made it feel unique!

8. Worst: Britney Spears — July 22nd

While Britney Spears will always be an absolute pop icon in our eyes, we can’t say we’re huge fans of her fashion choices! This look she wore to the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood premiere was simply too casual for a red carpet. The look missed the mark on any glitzy or unique detailing to make it stand out and, unfortunately, felt lackluster.

7. Best: Adriana Lima — July 22nd

Adriana Lima, on the other hand, definitely nailed it with her red look for the same film premiere. The halter neckline, glitzy texture, and ruching along the hips were super flattering and red-carpet worthy.

6. Worst: Gigi Hadid — July 2nd

Gigi Hadid has one of the most coveted figures in the world and could seemingly pull off anything; however, we have to admit we weren’t huge fans of this look she wore at Paris Fashion Week. The ensemble had a little too much going on from the color blocking to the bedazzled collar to the bustier detail.

5. Best: Margot Robbie — July 30th

Margot Robbie stole the show when she stepped out at the Once Upon A Time in Hollywood premiere wearing a burnt orange dress. We love how flattering and whimsical this dress looked on her, especially with the glamorous scarf detail that felt very old Hollywood.

4. Worst: Celine Dion — July 2nd

While we can definitely appreciate Celine Dion’s experimental sense of style, she’s unfortunately had a few misses along the way. This look she wore to Paris Fashion Week was obviously unique and different, but the oversized sleeves were overall quite unnecessary and excessive.

3. Best: Kate Middleton — July 14th

Kate Middleton had a long list of fabulous fashion moments at Wimbledon this year, but our absolute favorite was this powder blue look she wore during the presentations of the men’s singles final. The color looked gorgeous on her sunkissed skin and the twisted shoulder detail and purple bow added a touch of something unexpected and different.

2. Worst: Beyonce — July 14th

Beyonce stepped out at The Lion King July premiere wearing a bright gold dress with a super-high slit. While the dress itself is actually really gorgeous on her, we couldn’t get over how much it clashed with the background of the red carpet, which detracted from the look as a whole.

1. Best: Meghan Markle — July 14th

Meghan Markle took a brief hiatus from her maternity leave to walk The Lion King red carpet with Prince Harry and she looked absolutely fabulous! We love how simple and gorgeous this black mesh dress looked on her. It was also lovely to see her pull her hair back into a bun to really show off her new baby glow.
