Amy Schumer Pulls Prank On Katie Couric, Makes Fun Of Jimmy Fallon

Before the big release of her first major film Trainwreck, which she wrote and is starring in, famed comedienne Amy Schumer, 34, is hot on the press tour and no celebrity is safe!

The hilarious actress sat down with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on Wednesday, July 15 and, as to be expected, putting those two together resulted in some hilarious dialogue and stories.

One story in particular was a prank Schumer pulled on Katie Couric at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards.

Schumer explained how she ended up at a table with Couric, Stephen Colbert and Mindy Kaling to which Fallon stated, “I want to be at that table!” Couric told Schumer that her husband just showed up, but he wasn’t invited so, when Couric got up to go talk to her husband, Schumer took her chance. “She [Couric] left her phone open to texts from him. Don’t worry I didn’t do anything! Except I picked it up, just without even thinking, to text him,” Schumer said and then recounted the dirty text she sent Couric’s husband.

“Katie comes back like 90 seconds later and she and her husband are like, ‘So…we’re leaving.’ Like, ‘I don’t know why he wants to leave,'” Schumer laughed.

Fans of Schumer know she has no boundaries and no censors and next took aim at Fallon regarding his freak hand injury that almost required the amputation of his finger. “I can’t, your hand is so gross. Like, it’s so gross to look at!” she told Fallon before stating, “You hurt your hand in the shape of The Shocker. Like, I think that’s really — that’s inappropriate. Coincidence?” As the crowd died laughing.

If her stand-up routine and interviews are any indication, Trainwreck is going to be one raunchy, hilarious film and is set to hit theatres Friday, July 17.
