“There is a whole narrative, apparently, that I am pursuing Lori Loughlin for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And the first I heard about that was Twitter,” Cohen explained. “But it’s not true.”
Cohen then continued to make kind remarks about Loughlin but further reassured he was not actively reaching out to her for a role on Real Housewives. “Lori Loughlin is a very nice person. She’s going to have quite a story to tell. And she’s always been lovely,” he said. “So, anyway, that is not true.”
Loughlin recently pleaded guilty for her role alongside her husband Mossimo Giannuli in the college admissions scandal. Loughlin runs in the same circles as many of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast, so it wouldn’t come as a complete shock if she had been pursued to join the cast.
Loughlin was close particularly with RHOBH star Kyle Richards and back in March 2019, Richards addressed the scandal. “We know a lot of people in that circle, and it was really shocking. Sophia knows all of those girls.”
She added, “They’re really great people, and you kind of just go, ‘I’m really so confused by all of this.'”
