While tons of women around the world have probably thought about what it would be like to be married to the incredibly handsome Brad Pitt, only two women really know what it’s like.
While he was still married to Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie fell for each other on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, creating a Hollywood frenzy and a whole new A-list couple.
Pitt, 51, and Jolie, 39, only got officially married earlier this year but the pair have now been together for ten years and as well as being two of Hollywood’s most wanted actors, they are also raising a family of six children.
In an interview with Australia’s Women’s Weekly Jolie revealed that being married to the king of Hollywood doesn’t make it any easier than any other relationship and still requires hard work.
“[Brad and I] work really hard at nurturing our family to make sure that everybody is alright and everyone stays connected. Maintaining a marriage and raising kids is hard work. You have to really make sure that your work doesn’t get in the way. That you don’t do something that is going to put too much strain on your family.”
With the married couple now working together on a film, By the Sea, they included their oldest son Maddox, 13, in the process by having him work as a P.A. on the set and prefer spending time at home as a family over any other function or event.
“They’re six of the funniest people we have ever met in our lives. We love being home and we love being around them because they are just so entertaining,” Jolie gushed as she also described them as a “tribe who are fiercely protective of one another.”
They’re loyalty and dependency as a family was made evident to everyone as Pitt and kids gladly stepped up to represent Jolie at her Unbroken premiere last week when she was ill with the chickenpox, making sure everything went smoothly in her absence.
