Although the saying goes, “no one is perfect,” if anyone does come close it has to be Angelina Jolie who, at 39 years old, has accomplished so much in her life and career.
She is one of the most respected and powerful actresses in Hollywood and is now being praised for her work behind the camera as a director.
Aside from her work in Hollywood she has also been honored numerous times which included a meeting with the Queen for her work in international humanitarian efforts as the Special Envoy to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
On top of an impressive resume she is also the mother to six children and wife to one of Hollywood’s most famous actors, Brad Pitt.
While she has mastered her work life, in an interview on Today with Tom Brokaw on Tuesday November 25, she revealed she is aiming to get better in the wife department.
“We have moments where I say, ‘I’m going to be a better wife. I’m going to cook.’ And he says, ‘Oh, honey, just know what you’re good at. Know what you’re not.’ But I do this, ‘No, no, no! I’m gonna get this wife thing down.’ But he knows my limitations and where I’m a good wife and a good mom,” Jolie revealed.
Her increased attempts at being a better wife come after the couple of ten years officially tied the knot on August 23, 2014 in France.
“It did change, in just a feeling of security and comfort that we always had but recommitting after 10 years of being together and we were fortunate enough to be in that unusual situation where we got married with our children […] it was all of us agreeing to be together and to just commit to this life together.”
Ten years after meeting and working together on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Pitt and Jolie reunite on-screen again in their new film By the Sea which Jolie not only starred in but also wrote and directed.
