Underestimate Aquaman no more! Ever since actor Jason Momoa was signed on to represent possibly the most teased and hated DC Comics superhero, it has been well known that he will portray an Aquaman that no one will want to mess with, let alone make fun of.

In fact, Momoa has no problems standing up for himself and his comic universe which he made clear at the Indiana Comic-Con in Indianapolis recently.

When asked for an autograph on a photo of him dressed in character as his superhero alter-ego, the fan apparently asked if Momoa could “write down a reason why all these DC haters out there should join our DC universe?” His response was very simple, albeit not really a reason, as the 35-year old actor allegedly wrote, “F–k Marvel,” before signing the poster.

Although the comment will be sure to anger quite a few Marvel’s fans which includes the extremely successful Avengers franchise, he also probably just gained the unwavering support of die-hard DC Comics fans who will be dying to see what kind of attitude he brings to his Aquaman character.

Momoa, who recently portrayed Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, was officially announced as the superhero in October 2014 and is expected to appear in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016. He will then be back as Aquaman in Justice League: Part One, scheduled for 2017 before getting his very own standalone film in 2018.
