Are Katy Perry And John Mayer Back Together?

Although Katy Perry has a huge show coming up playing this year’s Super Bowl half time show in Arizona on Sunday February 1, it seems she is taking some time off rehearsing to reconnect with an ex flame.

Perry, 30, and ex-boyfriend John Mayer, 37, were seen going on a double date with Allison Williams and her fiance Ricky Van Veen on Saturday January 10 at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, only a week after they were first spotted enjoying a dinner party with friends.

An insider told E! News, it isn’t just a friend situation either as the couple “seemed very comfortable together and kissed several times.”

“They are definitely back together and seeing where it goes. They have spent almost every night together this week,” the insider stated.

Perry and Mayer first hooked up after the singer divorced British comedian Russell Brand. The two dated off and on for quite a while before breaking up in February of 2014 amidst several cheating rumors swirling around Mayer. While Mayer is known as Hollywood’s resident womanizer, sources say the two continued to be friends even after the break-up, making the reconciliation not so surprising.

“They never stopped talking and being friendly while they were broken up. They are really excited about being together right now and spending as much time as possible together.”
