Ariana Grande has cancelled her Vietnam concert due to health problems that have prohibited her from performing.
Grande was set to perform at the Quân khu 7 Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City but is expecting to resume her tour this Saturday at LeSports Center in Beijing, China. The pop star took to Instagram Stories to share the unfortunate news, “My babes in Vietnam, I apologize from the bottom of my heart but I’m really dealing with some health problems at the moment,” she explained.
“I came here to Vietnam, so excited to perform, my doctor won’t allow me to do the show for you tonight. I’m so, so sorry. There is nothing I hate to do more than to do this, but I promise to make it up to you in the future. I love you and thank you for understanding.”
Grande’s Dangerous Woman tour was previously the spotlight of many headlines during the devastating Manchester Arena bombing that took the lives of 22 fans in May. Following the traumatic night, Grande canceled seven concerts and proceeded to cancel two shows in Monterrey, Mexico for unexplained reasons.
Grande’s tour is set to end on September 21 at the AsiaWorld-Arena in Hong Kong. The pop star is also nominated for two awards at the 2017 MTV VMAs including the Artist of the Year category and the Best Choreography nomination, but she is not anticipated to be in attendance due to her Shanghai tour date on the same day of the event.
