Three more contestants have been added to the Dancing with the Stars roster for season 31!
Us Weekly has shared that Bachelorette Gabby Windey, singer Jordin Sparks and comedian Wayne Brady will be competing on the upcoming season.
Dancing with the Stars is set to air on Disney+ on September 19th. The event will mark a big change for the dance competition series as it will air on Disney+ after 15 years on ABC.
Windey, Sparks and Brady are just three of many contestants who will be competing for the mirrorball. Last month it was revealed that TikTok star Charli D’Amelio and her mother Heidi would be competing on the upcoming season. The mother-daughter duo are both former competitive dancers and have opened up about the new role.
“I would love to do a little nod to why I am even here and what got me here, but I think I’m really going to work on the technical sides of ballroom,” Charli said during an interview on Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 7.
Heidi also opened up about the role and revealed it’s been a “long time” since she competed in dance. “We’ll see if it’s like riding a bike [and I can] pick up choreography,” she said.
In July, it was confirmed that Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli would be returning as judges for the upcoming season. In August, it was confirmed that pro dancers Cheryl Burke, Witney Carson, Artem Chigvintsev, Brandon Armstrong, Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov would also be returning.
Dancing With the Stars season 31 premieres on Disney+ Monday, September 19, at 8 p.m. ET.
