Look out, Port Charles: Alley Mills is making her way over to General Hospital (GH) from her longtime soap The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B).

The veteran actress has joined the cast of GH in a mystery role, according to Soap Opera Digest. She will make her debut on the ABC soap later this month.

Mills has been synonymous with Pam Douglas, sister to the late Forrester matriarch Stephanie Forrester, on B&B since 2006.

While no information has been made available about her upcoming role, GH fans are looking to Mills’ best-known roles for clues.

Besides portraying the loveable, albeit slightly unstable, Pam Douglas, the beloved actress is also famous for her depiction of Norma Arnold in the original version of The Wonder Years

Although Mills has been involved in some memorable storylines over the years, her character has been sorely missed on the CBS sudser. Mills dropped to recurring status in 2019, and made her most recent appearance in 2021.

The star has also taken some time to mourn her husband, Orson Bean, who passed away from a roadside accident in 2020.

This doesn’t mean Mills’ time with B&B is over, though. With the holidays around the corner, fans are banking on Pam and her cooking partner, Charlie, at the upcoming Thanksgiving dinner at the Forrester mansion.
