The Bold and the Beautiful actress Denise Richards was caught up in a “terrifying situation” on Monday, November 14th, when a motorist opened fire at her.
Richards was with her husband, Aaron Phypers, when the incident occurred. The two were on their way to a film and TV studio in their pickup truck.
According to TMZ, the outlet which first reported the attack, a passing driver fired a round at the pair’s vehicle when Phypers had slowed down to look for street parking. A representative for the actress has since confirmed that chain of events.
The reality star commented on the shooting after a callous Twitter user claimed that he wished the outcome had been more violent.

“I would never wish any harm on anyone,” Richards tweeted in response. “What I experienced yesterday with my husband, not that you care, was the most terrifying situation I have ever been in.”
Referring to the Twitter user, who has since been banned for abusive conduct, Richards added, “I’m sorry a shot didn’t graze my neck…”
Although damage to the truck has been photographed, it’s curious to note that police authorities never received a call about the shooting.
Spokespeople who represent the Los Angeles Police Department, the California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department each told NBC News that they hadn’t received any report of such a crime.
