Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Reportedly Call Off Divorce For Now

It has now almost been two years since the dramatic separation between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner and they are not any closer to divorce.

Despite their separation, the pair have made it very clear they would like to work towards a reconciliation and although they are not back together, People is reporting that the pair are getting further and further away from a permanent split. “Jen has called off the divorce. She really wants to work things out with Ben. They are giving things another try,” a source told the publication.

Although Garner has always been reluctant to completely split from Affleck, even after the cheating scandal, the source said calling off the divorce was a decision that both A-listers made. “There is always a chance of reconciliation. They love each other. They also really, really love their kids, and those kids love their parents.”

Since the split, the pair have always seemed like a happy family including family vacations and most recently hosted a birthday party at their Los Angeles home for their son Samuel.

While things seem to be slowly repairing for the two, it did seem just recently that they were finally headed towards a divorce as Garner was reportedly telling friends she was ready to file,” but has since rethought the decision. The source also added, “Ben is making a big effort to take care of himself. They are not back together, but there seems to be hope. Jen is hoping they can stay married. Ben doesn’t want a divorce either.”
