Ben Affleck And ‘Saturday Night Live’ Producer Lindsay Shookus Are Reportedly Dating
Published on July 7, 2017.According to Us Weekly, Ben Affleck has jumped back into the dating scene with a new leading lady in his life, SNL producer Lindsay Shookus.
Just three months after his divorce from Jennifer Garner, a source confirmed that Affleck and Shookus have been dating but are still “in the early stages” of their relationship. The couple spent four nights together in London while Affleck was in town for work and the duo was spotted watching Sam Mendes’ play Ferryman. “They were together on the set of Justice League in London where Ben was filming reshoots,” the source also revealed.
Affleck was recently admitted into rehab to seek help in treating his alcohol addiction, but is said to be “very happy” in his recovery and “very much enjoying spending time with Lindsay.” Although both Affleck and Shookus have yet to confirm their relationship, the insider shared, “It’s more than a summer fling. They are having fun and care for each other. It’s early and they are taking it slow.”
Despite the end of their 10-year marriage, Affleck and his ex-wife Garner have remained civil and were spotted together on a family vacation in the Bahamas last month to support their children. “They’re in constant communication about the kids all day long,” an insider recently told Us. “They’re not a couple by any means.” An Affleck insider added: “They have never stopped working on their relationship, and they’ve built a really great one for their family.”
