Ben Affleck Puts Superhero Figure On Display
Published on January 7, 2015.Ah, that Ben. Out and about in L.A., putting his Batman figure on display.
And by Batman figure, it means, bulked up torso and lean legs?
That’s not a knock on Ben, but maybe an indictment of his trainer? Regardless, people love catching a glimpse of the next Batman in public, and he does deserve a handful of cool points for rolling in a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport. It’s a sweet ride. So much cooler than that Plymouth Duster he was cruising in Dazed and Confused.
However, let’s take a moment here to discuss fitness and muscularity with actors taking on these superhero roles. There are good, and there are bad. Nah, Ben hasn’t approached the bad–he’s yoked–but he is borderline imbalanced, top to bottom. It could be the jeans he chose to wear, but the quads should be busting at the seams.
Yes, this is OK for Batman, considering Batman’s costume. But please, all actors to play Batman in the future, regardless of how you felt about Christian Bale’s Batman voice, he took the character to another level physically. We can’t digress at this point. Understood?
So, what was Ben doing out and about? Well. He’s a human being, so he probably wanted some fresh air and the opportunity to gas up his ride. According to the paparazzi, he had a lunch date. As you’ll see in the video below, it was obviously a casual gathering, as Ben sported a t-shirt and jeans.
