White, an eight-time Emmy winner and pop-culture sensation, turned 98 years old earlier this year. The actress’ Hollywood career spans more than eight decades, and she’s starred in hit series, including The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Golden Girls, and Hot in Cleveland.
As for other Lifetime holiday movie news, the network also announced that Kelly Rowland will star in Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding, a sequel to last year’s film Merry Liddle Christmas, which also featured Rowland. Lifetime Yuletide key star Melissa Joan Hart will direct then tentatively titled Feliza NaviDad, which will mark as a reunion of sorts with her former Holiday in Handcuffs star Mario Lopez, who will portray a widowed father whose daughter helps him rediscover the festive spirit.
As for these Lifetime’s upcoming TV shows and movies, the network is waiting to resume filming after the current public health situation eases its social distancing rules. Lifetime has described its slate of upcoming holiday movies as being in “various stages of production.”
