Blake And Miranda Talk Via Twitter For The First Time Since Divorce

Only days after country megastars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced and finalized their divorce, the two seem to be as friendly as ever.

In the days following their announcement, several “sources” were causing “he-said, she-said” drama in the media but, for the first time since the divorce, the two are conversing on twitter and are being totally agreeable.

On Friday, July 24, Shelton tweeted, “Hey @mirandalambert can u believe there’s people who haven’t bought @ashleymonroe new album? Isn’t that shocking?!!” Barely a minute later, Lambert replied with, “@blakeshelton no I can’t because it is the best work she has ever done! I love it! We love you @ashleymonroe.”

This cheery exchange happened in the same week as their divorce, which has raised eyebrows and caused one follower to suggest they were “pre-set tweets,” but Shelton quickly denied that by replying, “Nope… Not at all buddy.”

It seems in fact that Shelton and Lambert know that their every move, both in real life and online, is being monitored. People are waiting for one or the other to mention the divorce, so the former couple decided to use the attention to promote their fellow star’s album. Shelton’s first tweet was, “Now THIS is what everybody needs to be talking about!!!!!!! Go @ashleymonroe !!!!”

The friendly banter didn’t stop there either, as Miranda then tweeted at Blake a picture of him pushing a stroller, which she sent to him and added, “@blakeshelton I knew it… You WERE pregnant! This calls for a drink!” He retweeted it and wrote, “Ha!!!! Busted… I wasn’t JUST a fat ass. Drinking shall now begin…”

As far as amicable splits go, it really seems like this is the real deal for the pair who were married for four years before Shelton silently filed divorce papers over two weeks ago.
