After Angelina Jolie initially filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt in September there was a constant flood of information about how bad their relationship had gotten, and that Pitt had allegedly abused their eldest son Maddox.
Things had quieted down, however, as the pair tried to work out a custody agreement, but now they are making headlines again after it was revealed that Pitt sent in an emergency request to have the custody documents sealed. Unfortunately for the actor, his request was denied at a hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, December 7. Pitt wanted the custody details of the couple’s six children sealed to keep it private, as Pitt is still seeking joint physical custody, something Jolie is fighting.
Now, Jolie is also reportedly asking Pitt to find even more professional help for them and the children in order to help deal with the “trauma” of the incident that occurred on their private jet which spurred Jolie to file for divorce in the first place. According to TMZ, the actress’s lawyer made a request to Pitt’s legal team proposing that they “participate in joint sessions with a trauma specialist so that they may learn how to best support and interact with their children.”
Jolie is adamant that the incident on the plane was so hard on the kids that the current therapy arrangement is not enough.
