Britney Spears Dances To Ex Justin Timberlake’s New Song, Calls Him A “Genius”

Spears has encouraged her fans and followers to DM her if they need any help, recently shared a throwback to her “Oops… I Did It Again” era, posted an illustration that reworked “…Baby One More Time” to be about social distancing, and even posted a meme calling for the redistribution of wealth to Instagram.

The pop star continued to share the positive vibes on Wednesday, April 15, by uploading a video of herself dancing to “Filthy,” by her ex Justin Timberlake, with a caption that joked about their former relationship.
Spears prefaced the message with her humor about how bored she has been, and how the video is her best attempt at a TikTok or SnapChat video. In the postscript, the pop star wrote, “I know we had one of the world’s biggest breakups 20 years ago …… but hey the man is a genius !!!! Great song JT ✨ !!!!”
Before she had time to follow up with a second video, Timberlake responded to her video, writing, “😂🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼”
Spears dated Timberlake from 1999 to 2002, right during the peak of music sales, making them one of the most famous celebrity couples in the world at the time. While the two showed off their love in the spotlight, their breakup became toxic when Timberlake released the music video for his solo single, “Cry Me a River,” which used a Britney-lookalike to suggest the duo had split over Spears cheating on him.
