Calvin Harris And Zayn Malik Engage In Twitter Fight Over Taylor Swift

No matter how many times celebrities have watched other celebrities get dragged into huge, public social media wars, it seems not many can keep their cool and for Calvin Harris that can’t be done when someone is seemingly throwing shade at his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

It all started when Malik retweeted a tweet that compared quotes by Swift and Miley Cyrus about their views on making money in the music industry.

Harris then went off writing, “@FemaleTexts @zaynmalik You’ve made your money? Cool… f–k the 99% of musicians who depend on these services to survive right? Yeah f–k em.” He continued on his rant with, “If u don’t get what it means when a successful artist uses their celebrity to benefit every other musician and songwriter in the industry… stay out my f–kin mentions pls.”

He then took a jab at Malik by suggesting he didn’t really understand the music industry, writing, “While u kids are refresh voting teen choice awards there’s some poor f–ker in a basement making your new favorite record trying to survive. Meaning… stay out of things you don’t understand.”

Finally Malik responded with, “@CalvinHarris ha you just made an absolute fool of yourself mate,” and, “you clearly didn’t understand what I just said either… so I suggest you calm your knickers before them dentures fall out.”

Eventually Harris seemed to want to just take the high road by writing to Malik, “all good, it was the quote not you personally mate […] best of luck, genuinely. You’ve got a great voice.” It all seemed to be over with Malik adding, “Oh and I write my own sh-t too dickhead,” but Harris didn’t respond.

Although the whole thing was over quickly and seemed really silly, people are loving the fact Harris rushed to Swift’s defense, although she never got involved herself.
