Carrie Underwood Gets Seriously Scared On ‘Ellen’

For years now, Ellen DeGeneres has made herself a frontrunner in pulling off the best pranks and scares on celebrities while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

They usually all work out great, but it is safe to say some celebrity reactions are way better than others, and Carrie Underwood definitely had a good one.

The gorgeous country star stopped by the show on Friday, September 16, and Ellen pointed out that it was Underwood’s 10th time on the show. So, they took a moment looking back on the visit with DeGeneres saying, “You look beautiful and I think I’ve gotten better. That’s amazing, right?” She then added that she should give Underwood a “gift of some sort,” and even with a hint, the singer didn’t see it coming.

At that moment, a man dressed in a full hockey uniform (in an ode to Underwood’s husband Mike Fisher) popped out of the side table. Underwood gave out a shriek and covered her face, as DeGeneres quipped, “See, he was dressed like your husband.”

DeGeneres made sure to have her faux hockey player wear a uniform with a “C” on it as earlier this month Fisher was named captain of the Nashville Predators.
