Surprise!
Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are happy to announce that they have welcomed their second son!
The country music superstar took to her social media on Wednesday, January 23 to announce the big news and share their little one’s name, revealing he made his arrival on Monday, January 21!
“Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday…” she began her post. “his mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle! Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good…” she concluded.
Along with the adorable announcement, she shared three photos. The first shows proud father, former NHL player, Mike Fisher holding his new son, the second features Underwood cradling her newborn in the hospital, and the third shows big brother Isaiah meeting his little brother for the first time while Mike looks on.
Underwood announced her second pregnancy on August 8, 2018 in a big announcement that also included news on her upcoming The Cry Pretty Tour 360 but kept quiet about her due date. While hosting the CMA Awards yet again with fellow country star Brad Paisley back in November, she also revealed that she and her husband were expecting another son!
Underwood and Fisher were married in July 2010 before they welcomed son Isaiah Michael Fisher on February 27, 2015. Following the announcement of her second pregnancy in the summer of 2018, the singer revealed that she had suffered multiple miscarriages in the two years leading up to her second pregnancy.
Congratulations to the happy, healthy family!
