The mother of Cathriona White, Jim Carrey’s late girlfriend, has filed a wrongful death suit against the actor.

According to court documents, Brigid Sweetman is seeking damages from Carrey for wrongful death and a violation of the drug dealer liability act lawsuit. Sweetman alleges that Carrey hid the fact that he had several STDs prior to passing them along and was verbally abusive which contributed to her suicide: “Carrey’s abuse included, but was not limited to, Carrey giving Ms. White three STDs without warning her (Herpes I and II and Clamidia), lying to her about it, ‘dumping’ her out of concern for saving his own carefully crafted public image, calling her a ‘whore’ and shaming her, and then using high-priced Hollywood lawyers and ‘fixers’ to intimidate and threaten her in an effort to silence her,” the court documents read.

Sweetman also claims she has screenshots of conversations between White and Carrey where they allegedly discuss her supposed STD diagnosis and a handwritten note from her to him. This lawsuit comes at the heels of White’s estranged ex-husband, Mike Burton, who filed his own wrongful death suit against Jim Carrey last month. Sweetman and Burton both claim that Carrey obtained the drugs under the false name “Arthur King,” and gave them to White, all the while knowing that she was prone to depression and had previously attempted suicide. Both plaintiffs are being represented by the same lawyer, Michael Avenatti.

Carrey, 54, dated the make up artist on and off prior to her untimely death last year. White died from a prescription drug overdose which was ruled as a suicide by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. She was found in her home on Sept. 24, 2015 surrounded by four different prescription drugs, Ambien, Percocet, Propranolol and Zofran. A toxicology report stated the police found texts in her phone from Carrey asking if she knew where his painkillers went.

In response to this new lawsuit, Carrey’s lawyer released a statement which read: “It is understandable that a mother who has lost a daughter will look for someone to blame. But in directing her grief and rage at Jim Carrey and joining this ridiculous lawyer’s attempt to capitalize on Cathriona’s suicide, Mrs. Sweetman is heading down the same dark path as Cathriona’s green-card ‘husband,’ Mark Burton.”

Sweetman is seeking general damages, economic damages, funeral and burial expenses, punitive damages and attorneys’ fees.
