Chad Duell And Courtney Hope Are Engaged

General Hospital‘s Chad Duell and Young and the Restless‘ Courtney Hope are officially engaged!

“Yesterday was a good day,” Hope wrote on Instagram. “Forever with this man is a dream come true.” In his own Instagram post, he wrote, “she said yes,” and “I’m one lucky dude.”

The soap opera couple got engaged on Valentine’s Day. In a separate post, Hope wrote a touching tribute to her love. “Happy Valentine’s Day to the love of my life. I’d choose you over and over again if I had the chance.”

Duell and Hope were first introduced in 2015 at a party through his General Hospital co-star Bryan Craig. In fact, she was about to audition on the soap to play Duell’s love interest! Although she didn’t end up getting the job, she did land the guy, and she’s quite happy with how everything worked out.

“We would have been creating an on-screen romance while developing our own, and kind of comparing it with what they’re writing for us,” Hope told Soap Opera Digest. “But now that we’re established, working together is no big shakes. We have a three-and-a-half-year relationship as our foundation.”
