Chicago Justice actress Lindsey Pearlman’s cause of passing has been revealed following an examination by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.

According to reports, the actress was found passed in a car on February 18th at the age of 43. The car was located near Hollywood’s Runyon Canyon Park, a popular location for hikes and runs. She was last seen in the East Hollywood area on February 13th.

On Monday, it was concluded that Pearlman’s passing was due to suicide caused by sodium nitrite toxicity. According to reports, “the presence of non-toxic levels of lorazepam, metoclopramide, and codeine” were found in Pearlman’s system.

After she was deemed missing, many of the star’s friends and family members asked the public for help and shared a missing persons report on social media. At the time, Pearlman’s cousin, Savannah, tweeted that Pearlman’s phone was last pinged on Sunset Blvd. which was just 1.5 miles from where her car was located.

Pearlman’s husband, TV producer Vance Smith, later confirmed his wife’s passing on Instagram, writing, “The police found Lindsey. She’s gone. I’m broken.”

Some of Pearlman’s most notable roles include Joy Fletcher on Chicago Justice and Martha on The Ms. Pat Show. She also recently portrayed songwriter Diane Warren on Netflix’s Selena: The Series. She appeared on episodes of Empire, Sneaky Pete, American Housewife, The Purge, and General Hospital.
