After the announcement that the hit FX series American Horror Story had been dubbed Hotel for its fifth season and would be starring none other than Lady Gaga, anticipation has been heating up and so has the casting news.

Series creator Ryan Murphy confirmed the latest star to be “checking in” for the hotel would be Chloe Sevigny, writing on his Twitter, “Very excited to announce that Chloe Sevigny returns to the AHS family as a series regular on AHS:Hotel.” Sevigny is no stranger to the creepy series as she previously appeared in the second season, Asylum, as nymphomaniac Briarcliff Manor who comes to a particularly grisly end on the show.

Sadly AHS veteran Jessica Lange previously announced she will not be returning for season fuve but other stars have joined the cast including Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley and Cheyenne Jackson for what is sure to be a great season.

While the show has seen many stars both as guest stars, regulars and recurring characters, Murphy has to hope that Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence has no interest in appearing on the series while Sevigny is there.

In a recent interview with V Magazine, Sevigny was not shy about her opinions on the Hunger Games star, saying, “I like Emma Stone. Whenever she’s herself, she’s really cute. Jennifer Lawrence I find annoying. Too crass.”
