Given Chris Brown’s high profile, very public and unfortunately violent history with his relationships, many assumed they knew pretty much everything about his personal love life but it turns out the controversial singer had a pretty big secret.
Gossip site TMZ reported on Tuesday March 3 that the 25-year old Brown is a father to a nine month old little girl whom he had with a 31-year old former model, Nia.
Sources told the site that the two parents have known each other for “several years” but are not in a romantic relationship and are on “very good terms” with having a child together.
The fact the baby is so young is very surprising given that Brown has been romantically linked to model Karreuche Tran for the past four years following his split from Rihanna.
That’s not to say it has been a stable relationship, far from it however, especially after Brown slammed Tran for visiting him only once during his four months in prison and accused of dating rapper Drake during that time, although both Tran and Drake deny those accusations.
Afterwards he blasted Tran again in the middle of a concert but quickly posted a lengthy apology on his Instagram page and the pair were most recently seen holding hands during New York Fashion Week in January.
Hopefully Tran was aware of his daughter, or this relationship is going to see a whole new level of drama.
