Chris Hemsworth Is PEOPLE’S Sexist Man Alive: Thoughts?
Published on November 19, 2014.By now we’re all used to the hotties that Australia has produced for Hollywood including Hugh Jackman, Eric Bana and Sam Worthington just to name a few.
However, two of Hollywood’s hottest leading men also happen to be Australian brothers and now one of them has been named People magazine’s sexiest man alive of 2014.
On Tuesday November 18, host Jimmy Kimmel announced that Thor actor, Chris Hemsworth, 31, won the title, on his late show Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Kimmel engaged the crowd in a guessing game to see if they could figure it out with one audience member making the correct call.
Hemsworth told the magazine that he fully expects to be teased the most about his newest title from his brothers including little brother Liam Hemsworth whose good looks and acting success probably earned him a few nods for the title as well, meaning maybe in a couple years a second Hemsworth will be named sexiest man alive.
Chris has had major success in Hollywood since playing a small role in the 2009 Star Trek reboot as George Kirk, the father of James T. Kirk.
While he always looks good, he added 20 lbs of muscle to his 6’2 frame plus rugged good looks and flowing blond hair to be a perfect fit for the role of demi-God Thor in his own franchise as well as reprising the role in the huge blockbuster, The Avengers.
Even though he did not actually have any films come out in 2014, 2015 will be a huge year for Hemsworth with four films slated for release including the second Avengers and new action film, Blackhat.
Chris also said his wife found the fact he won pretty funny well also stating that he thinks the sexiest thing ever is his gorgeous wife, Elsa Pataky, 38.
With Chris Pratt having a huge year with the success of Guardians of the Galaxy and stunning people with his physical transformation with a rock hard bod, many believed he may have been this year’s sexiest man but he lost out to the Norse-god himself.
Some other runners up included country star Blake Shelton, Fifty Shades actor Jamie Dornan and ex-NFL QB Tim Tebow.
