Chris Hemsworth’s Wax Figure Fail

For anyone doubting Chris Hemsworth’s sense of humor, here ya go.

Chris, as well as the other bright shining stars from Marvel’s The Avengers films, was recently strutting the red carpet to premier The Avengers: Age of Ultron. As part of the celebration, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum created wax figures of all the characters from the film.

As Chris posed next to Thor, he seemed a little… unimpressed… with the final result. No doubt, it wouldn’t be easy to construct the manliness of Chris Hemsworth from wax, and that seems to be where they failed. The face. The face is not right. No bones about it, and no pun intended, it looks more like an actress whose name is failing me, than it looks like Chris Hemsworth. Yes, that actress with a beard. Or, perhaps, a blonde-haired, blue-eyed George W. Bush. Seriously.

Regardless, Chris had a little fun with it, posing for a photo with cocked eyebrow and unsettled soul, likely curious which artist was responsible for creating his face, and which picture they used as a point of reference in creating said face.

Now, let’s talk about what’s really important, Age of Ultron. Chris and the gang are exceptionally excited to open the blockbuster season with much anticipated sequel to The Avengers, and the buzz around this film is truly spectacular. Yes, every Marvel nerd is drooling for sustenance, but the critical response has been quite encouraging.
